I eat here every time I fly, it’s always good, today was really fresh. Staff is friendly and polite. Kept things moving. If every subway was like this today they would be unstoppable. Great job. I like the walk because I arrive early in case there are delays but it could be out of the way if you are rushed.

A little hard to find, but this restaurant has fed me many times on transcontinental flights. When you are walking from the security checkpoint to the gates, make a left soon after leaving the security checkpoint. It’s at the end of the corridor of the Z gates. The good thing is that few people know it’s there, so I’ve never had to wait. I just hope that they don’t go out of business.

I had a long wait for my flight and wanted to eat something healthy. I almost didn’t find this Subway store tucked all the way down at gate C1 at Dulles airport. I’m glad I kept walking until I found it. My sandwich was so fresh- the wheat bread was tasty and chewy, and the spinach and other vegetables were fresh. What really impressed me was how friendly the woman and young man were. They greeted me as if they cared I was there. I sat at the little tables at the edge of the shop to eat, and I could hear the nice woman greet everyone, and the young man take an interest in each customer. He patiently explained the menu to those that needed it. It’s really a pleasure to hear kindness that comes from the heart. Most likely, the shop won’t get repeating customers since they are at an airport gate- so it impresses me even more that the people who work here are cheery.

Troy the subway maker is v. Rude to customers. We are asking politely to add toppings, he gets grumpy and start to get mad.
He has an attitude that needs to be fixed!
This is unacceptable behavior and a reflection of the company.
On the other hand, the lady cashier is nice to us. Only Troy the Asian needs attention.
