Right after I left, she turned the “Open” sign off and started packing up. It’s really disappointing — I went out of my way thinking I’d be served during posted business hours, but instead was turned away well before closing. Poor customer service and a frustrating experience.
One thing was really weird though & I attached a picture of the front door. On the right door the arrows point to the door on the left & on the left window the arrows point to the in the middle of all the arrows. This makes one think that the door on the left is the one to reach for. It’s not! The door on the left with all the arrows pointing to it is locked! The door on the right is the open one.
Who did these decals? I need them to make this make sense to me because… Why? I mean it’s not a reason to not go there but still I’m looking at 4 giant arrows pointing to open this door and that door is locked and it’s actually the other door that’s unlocked. Ridiculous.
I placed an order through the Subway app for the location on Route 228 in Cranberry. After placing the order, I waited over 20 minutes for confirmation, which never came. Concerned, I tried to call the store—not once, but four times—only to be met with a recorded message saying they were “too busy” to answer the phone.
Since my card had already been charged, I drove to the store, hoping to get some answers. After waiting another 10 minutes to speak with an employee, I asked about my order. Turns out, it had been made over 30 minutes ago and was just sitting there—cold and soggy.
When I explained the issue with the app and the lack of communication, the employee’s response was, “That’s above my pay grade.” I asked to speak to a manager or the owner and was told they don’t deal with those issues because the owner “owns 30 other Subways.”
Needless to say you have lost my business
