The old lady Joy what’s the worst person I’ve ever met in customer service I finished spending $13 on a meal there ask her if she could put the cookie and heat it up for me and she got the weirdest attitude with me and said I was weird because I wanted my cookie warmed up and it’s no wonder that place is empty. Save yourself the trip go to Wappingers or someone else if you can but this old lady is not a good person and she definitely doesn’t deserve the money I paid let’s see if she’ll be here in 2 years

The owner is a one woman band as she serves the food and cashes out your order. She does not use gloves when using the register and preparing food. Her fountain drinks were off as there seem to have been no sugar added to the lemonade. When I mentioned it, she became irate and would not accommodate us for a substitution. Instead she took the drink off the menu and charged us the same price for two different items. This location isn’t sanitary and the vegetables aren’t fresh and the cheese isn’t refrigerated. She also said that her location didn’t have to honor “meal combos” even if they’re on her menu. She also refused to toast our bread and the flat bread. Avoid this location if you can when you’re in Beacon. The best alternative would be the one in Fishkill. This woman opened a franchise and created her own pricing and combinations. She also has the glass covered where the meats are kept almost as if she does not want customers to view the meat they are about to pay for on their sandwiches. We have taken the liberty of reporting her to the Subway corporation to let them know that she is tarnishing their brand.

Owner is rude and profiles people. Would not tell me her name after making discriminatory remarks. Her name badge said Joy. Come to find out she is the owner. Such a hate filled place does not belong in beacon. If you need a basic sandwich despite the tons of better places to go in beacon, go to the key food deli one block over. They have better selection, variety and prices, since she also refuses to honor coupons. One person also stated they got food poisoning from this place, the review is on here as well.

The owner is not very friendly, lack of staff or there of says a lot too! I paid over $20 for two footlongs which is wild. The bread was not fresh at all neither were the veggies and meat. Not to mention you can’t even see the area where the meats are stored!! She used the same gloves she prepared a sandwhich in to use the register and then never changed them to continue making sandwiches! I’ve been here twice, before and after the renovation. I was hoping it’d be a lot better after the renovation but NOPE. Will avoid this subway entirely for the rest of its existence! Hopefully one day soon a new owner will take over or it’s gone for good.

I’m rating this against other Subways, and I have to say: this is one of the nicest Subways I’ve ever been to. By “nice” I mean that it’s spotlessly clean and you can tell they recently renovated, because everything feels brand new. I went to a different Subway out of town recently and the difference was pretty startling. Plus this store is decorated for the holidays right now, which is a nice touch. The food was exactly like every other Subway, which is what I want when I get fast food. It’s just a nice, clean, quiet location.

Hi,
I was really disappointed this evening when I tried to stop by for a sandwich. I arrived at 8:00 PM, well within your posted business hours (which say open until 8:30), but the employee inside refused to acknowledge me and the door was effectively closed. If your hours have changed, they should be updated both online and at the location to avoid misleading customers—especially those of us who work late and plan our stops around what’s advertised.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as I was really looking forward to supporting your business.

Worst customer service experience I think I’ve ever had at a restaurant.

Today my son went to the subway to buy a sandwich since he was coming from training. He entered the place and took a moment to look at the menu. While he was thinking about what he was going to eat, he took out a bottle of water , which by the way was less than half full . When she saw that, the older lady who was serving him told my son that he couldn’t take out any food or drinks there, to which my son replied that he would buy her a sandwich and the lady refused, and was very rude and told him that she sold water there, but I don’t see the problem with My son taking out his water. If he was going to buy a sandwich, the lady refused to sell him and told him to leave the place aggressively. What bad service from this place. Reading the comments, I realize that it is always like this. What a bad place!

WALKED RIGHT OUT the lady at the counter didn’t greet us at all except saying “are you picking up or ordering” “you’re gonna have to wait a long time I have a ton of orders” EXTREMELY RUDE!! Hire people who keep your customers!!!

We frequent this subway often, and I have nothing but amazing things to say about it. On Memorial Day, we didn’t even think that their hours would be any different, but upon walking in, we realized that they closed in five minutes. Having both worked in food and beverage, my husband and I both said that we felt horrible that they are closing so soon and that we would just eat somewhere else. Joy, the owner, was more than happy to make us food even though we told her we didn’t mind leaving since we knew they were closing and trying to clean up. Not only did she make us feel welcome, she continued to have a conversation with us as well as my two-year-old daughter (all with a smile on her face). She didn’t rush making our sandwiches and she kept reminding us that she was so happy to have our business. This is one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had, especially at a time when most other people would be angry that we were walking in 5 minutes before close. Not only is the staff awesome, but the food is wonderful and fresh every time and the store is very clean. See y’all soon!
