Worker at the front who also claims he is the supervisor of the place said he couldn’t give me extra toppings because “it’s the formula”. I asked for extra onions and jalapeños and said he couldn’t do it. I told him if the customer wants more or less toppings it’s up to the customer and he said that’s not how it works. He started saying something under his breath as I was walking away, I asked him what he said and he suggested I go to a different location and not to come back again. I’ve been working in customer service/ hospitality for over 10 years and I have never been treated like this before. I don’t understand how someone can tell a customer no and to never come back. I even offered to pay extra and he said no it’s not about money it’s simply “the formula”. He said his name is something like Adres I don’t know he had a heavy accent. I’m very disappointed , this location needs a new supervisor because he doesn’t have any people skills whatsoever. This is the Subway by the Marketplace in Spring Valley.

The workers, not all but applies to MOST of them, comes off semi prejudice! I’ve been a customer of this location for many years and have seen enough to comment that often treating fair skin and Hispanics like themselves with more respect and consideration as opposed to darker skin individuals. Unacceptable for any business and is very prevalent at this location in particular.

Ordered 2 sandwiches one Veggie and one cheesteak on promotion both sandwiches were very thin with minimal in them. I will be calling customer service as the portions were unacceptable on both . I have ordered them in the past at other locations and they were always larger portions. I feel ripped off!!

If your paying in cash do not go there. The young lady does not know how to use a money marker or tell the difference between real or fake money. I watched her accuse someone saying their money was fake turns out it was real when I had to explain to her how the marker worked but she accused the young man from the jump before actually testing it. They need to be retrained.

I think this place is the only cleanest restaurant in rockland county. Every time I visit, the place is spotless and I appreciate the employees ALWAYS switching out their gloves after EACH customer AND transaction. The employees are also very quick and nice.

I placed an app order and when I went to pick it up the store was closed and work was being done inside. I called the store to get some information and the RUDE employee told me to come to tomorrow for my order and hung up on me when I began to ask how to get a refund. I called 2 more times and she didn’t answer. Ive called since that day still no answer. Ive sent a complaint with corporate but I AM STILL WAITING TO GET A REFUND!!!!!

I’m currently unable to walk because I tore my Achilles, so I’m on a knee scooter. I went into this place and the guy behind the counter said I’m not allowed to have the scooter. I told him I’m not able to walk and showed him my cast and he told me to go outside and he’ll take my order there. I was pretty shocked because I thought a national franchise would be ADA compliant but I guess not.

Guy was pretty rude about it too. Told me to wait outside by the door (it was pretty cold out). Safe to say I won’t be coming back to place.

Edit: I got a reply back from the subway. The employee claims that he said I could come in with the scooter and he’d make my sandwich which is a complete lie and the management team seems not to care at all. At first I was just gonna complain and put up the review but now since we’re just going to lie to my face Im feeling I should raise a stink about this.

I don’t even understand. Had he been training his whole life?

I ordered some sandwiches in the app and arrived early, so I went in to check if my order was done. When I asked if it was ready, this dude just absolutely speedrunned the sandwiches at the speed of light. 3 sec flat per topping. Just insane.
