This place has really gone downhill. I now go out of my way and travel to the Subway in downtown New Britain because more than half the time the girl working behind the counter at this location (and it’s always the same person I swear she must live there) frequently claims they are out of bread or meat. She’s so quiet I can barely hear a word she says. I had once explained to her I am hard of hearing and she got even quieter instead of speaking up so I just walked out.

I had accidentally placed a pickup order at this location. I tried to call multiple times to cancel it since I wasn’t able to pick it up but no one answered the phone.
I came in 2 1/2 hours later to see I could either get a refund for the order or get it remade.
After explaining the situation, the worker told me she wouldn’t be remaking it and called her manager on the phone when I asked why. Her manager that told me she would just reheat the old sandwich and wouldn’t make a new one. I didn’t feel like arguing so I left the store with the reheated mess.
I don’t think offering almost 3 hour old reheated HAM sandwich is the recommendation of food safety basics.

Everytime I come they mess up my order but this has been the worse so far. Any other shbway gets it right everytime. West main sucks. They should get shut down ! I paid for two nasty sandwiches. The workers are slow, I repeated my order 3 times !! & they still did it all wrong. I live close by so sometimes I have to do a quick stop but its not worth it coming here. Go to the one on the plaza.. its way better & they treat you good. Never again with these people fr. All I did was open my bag & this was exactly how it was. Waste of money.

Consistently below average. The sub was below par in amount and freshness of ingredients. Additionally I was overcharged as my exact order was part of day’s special but was not given the special price. Fortunately this is not my go to location.

Got people who don’t want to work. Closing down a half hour early. When I ask her what time they close she really looked at me .then the clock and told me what time it was. I googled the hours and told her you need to fix that. And she got an attitude. Won’t be coming back. Really made me upset considering I’m on my break and this is my only time to eat and she ruined that for me

I wouldn’t go back here if the food was free..They up the prices from a regular subway because they are a franchised owned location. They don’t honor subways coupons and the wraps are not wraps it’s some cheap kinda flatbread. Very disappointed. Let’s not mention I’m paying for my food look over and there are little nats in their vegetable cases..I wouldn’t recommend this place at all..Drive up the street and buy something else..

All of the vegetables were freezer burned, the chopped lettuce was browning, and nothing looked fresh. That being said I was starving and desperate and my partner had already started ordering anyway. The 2 girls working seemed like they never made a sandwich before, grabbed tiny pinches of each ingredient and piled them all in the center of the sandwich.
