I recently visited the Subway on Main Street in Glastonbury with my 78-year-old mother, who simply wanted to treat her son to dinner using a few corporate coupons. To our surprise, the staff refused to accept the coupons, saying it’s in the small print. But when I checked, there was absolutely nothing in the fine print about this location being excluded. It was frustrating and disappointing for both of us, especially after she was looking forward to this. We won’t be coming back.

Easy to order online in the app and have reasonable prices. The sandwich preparer cut it as requested and sandwiches were well prepared. Many reviews talk about poor hygiene but I ordered for myself and my family and no one had any issues. It’s likely the people complaining about diarrhea were affected by some of the lettuce recalls nationwide over the years. One thing that may be correct is the fact that they don’t seem to accept many of the coupons accepted by other locations but that is hit or miss even for other locations.

I used to love Subway when I was younger, then everything became mass produced, and very expensive Fast Junk Food. Barely any meat as usual. Price does not warrant the amount. Taste is not what it used to be, and they have employees multi tasking with phone orders, while they make yours. I have seen people get tired of waiting while they were working in someone’s over the phone in Glastonbury Main Street.

Website says it closes at 9:30pm we drove 20 minutes arrived at 9:00pm we walked in and they told us they were closed. The sign on the door even says 9:20pm closing. We had to then drive all the way to East Hartford to get our food. Poor business practices.

They secretly jack up prices. Online the protein pocket is 3.99. They charge 4.99 and don’t say anything about it. Scammers per usual

I don’t understand how Subway sponsors weekly deals but this location doesn’t honor them. Today Tueaday May 27th, 2025 it is Sweet Onion Teriyaki day where the sub is on sale and they refused to honor it stating the owner for that store doesn’t honor Subway sales. I wish I would’ve known ahead of time would’ve gone to one in East Hartford or Hartford that would’ve gladly given me the sub on sale. The gentleman wasn’t rude he even apologized but you can’t be a Subway franchise and not honor Subway deals smh!!

The woman here is extremely rude and doesn’t say hi or anything of that nature, And they definitely skimp on how much they put in your sandwich.

Just bought a subway grinder. The lettuce is so WILTED and turning brown. I would not serve this to my worst enemy. The employee just replied “sorry that is what they shipped us”.

We’ve been going to this subway for years and noticed a decline in customer service over the past few years HOWEVER, the last time we went, the customer service was outstanding. The gentleman making the sandwiches and ringing us out was so personable. He seemed genuinely grateful for our business and glad that we came in. He chatted politely with my children while ringing us up and took the time to make sure everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back!

Hello All, I have visited about 30 Subway restaurants over the years, I was even lucky enough to live above a Subway where the owner was my landlord.
I am sorry to say this franchise is the bottom the barrel, the employees looked unhappy to be there and once I walked in I saw a sign on the door “we dont accept coupons”, but I gave a 6 inch a shot, overpriced, the meat was slim and I got a “turkey titan” which is supposed to have 33% more meat… it was flat, barely the meat of a classic sub and in general the customer experience is bad.
To Subway on Main St: you need to get the pulse of your customers, providing less tban expected portions alone is heresy for a franchise owner, I hope you turn it around
