This is easily one of the best Subway locations I’ve visited! Located conveniently on Main Street, this spot is perfect whether you’re a local, a commuter, or passing through beautiful Waterbury.
The staff here are truly exceptional—fast, friendly, and they clearly take pride in their work. Even during the lunch rush, they manage to move the line quickly without sacrificing quality or attention to detail. My “build-your-own” sandwich was constructed perfectly, and the ingredients were noticeably fresh and crisp, especially the veggies!
The shop itself is clean and well-maintained. It’s a fantastic, reliable option for a health-conscious and satisfying meal. If you’re looking for a great sub with great service, look no further than the 149 S Main St location! Keep up the fantastic work!

We went to this Subway last week, an hour and a half before closing time. Food was good, service was quick. The restaurant was clean, but we were not allowed to use the bathroom… We were told it was broken. That was a bit disappointing since we were on a long day driving. We couldn’t even wash our hands…

I went into this subway a couple night ago store is very clean..you could see the tall young man working cared about what he was doing. My subs were made correctly and he was pleasant the whole time . I will be back. Thanks waterbury subway

I went to Subway with my family, on September 13th in the afternoon, and the customer service was terrible. The employee was very rude and mean with us for no reason. My sandwich was clearly not 6 inches long because the bread have been cut incorrectly. (My sandwich was approximately 4 inches long) When I realized, I told her about it but she replied (very meanly) that it was actually a 6 inches long sandwich and that it’s normal that the cuts are not always perfect. I didn’t receive any good service. The employee had no judgment and she refused to remake my sandwich. They are probably short staff, but they should not put anyone behind the counter. Also, the quality of the vegetables (lettuce and cucumber) was very bad. Bref, I am never going back to this Subway for sure.

Staff was very very friendly even if my wife try to speak english, he let her try and wait the time she needed to order correctly… the salad and sub was delicious and perfect. Very nice place in Waterbury to eat well and fast at good price… next time we will not lost time at shaws trying to get a good sandwich! This is the place !

We called in a takeout order.
They have taken 3 hours we called and asked for an update we didn’t get an answer until we called the 5th time.. Very unprofessional & very rude staff!!
We never got our food, they never made it!!
So if you want to save yourself some time go to a different Subway.
