I normally don’t complain on my food cause it’s normally not bad. I ordered a take out today and asked for less sauce. When I got home and opened my sandwich they had wrapped it 2 times which instantly told me that the sandwich was gonna be messy. Once I opened it I noticed that there is so much sauce it pored out the sides and everywhere. There is so many veggies it over powers the meat. I am very disappointed with this service today.

Hate to be this person but what a joke! Clearly they don’t train their new employees well enough. They have two new hires on today and one person who’s experienced. Simple sandwiches and directions were hard to be followed. I get being new and not knowing where things are but there needs to be more training and directing.
It took so long for one Sandwich to be made. There’s a long line so make sure to eat a snack before coming in to get your lunch.

Service at times depends I’ve had extremely friendly and kind and I’ve had people who made me feel like a burden so it depends.
Got a spicy foot long with ham. Lettuce spinach onions and green peppers toasted on Italian herb and cheese. Added Chipotle and light mayo.

Today I visited the machias Subway. I got so much more than I expected. The store was extremely clean Wich is the first thing I look for. The staff was great to suggest and accommodate everything we needed. There is a subway much closer to me but I’ll drive an hour for this kind of service. Thanks guys .

Update: tried once again placing an order. The only instructions were “please label sandwiches” Guess what? It didn’t happen. So much for the manager staying it was required for the staff to highlight and comply.
I waited to put this up to see if the company would even try to fix these issues, but alas that’s not the case. I order online and for the last 6 orders over the last 3 months, every single order has been wrong. Every one. I leave a tip for every other and ask that the 2 sandwiches I order be labeled. Simple, right? I thought so too. After speaking to the manager, she informed me that special instructions were supposed to be highlighted by employees so that they pay attention. Guess who’s receipts aren’t highlighted?
I tried calling for two days to have this issue resolved however no one answered the phone.

We’ve been occasional patrons since coming to town in 2018. The meatball subs and tuna subs are my husband’s favorites and I usually have a spicy Italian or BMT. We’re always happy with the service and the food. Good value and priced right.

I want to say I just got the best service from Patrick and Bobby at the Machias, Maine location. They was courteous and polite as soon as I walked there the door right to the the time I had to play. Patrick opened the store this morning then had to come in and close the store this evening. Bobby is new an did an great job with making my sandwich.

I ordered a salad there was little to no lettuce my husband unwrapped his sandwich in his sandwich just fell out everywhere and when they cut the bread they cut it so thin so lopsided that it just tore and pieces and he couldn’t eat it. No napkins….lately every time we go in there’s somebody new and the food is not made the same it is just terrible after the money we pay for these things we should get better service and better food
