I used to come here as a kid when I was attending FIU. I had a lot of happy memories at this location. I decided to try it out for nostalgic reasons. The food was exactly like I remember it however WOW the prices were much more. It’s good food but $20 for a sub was a bit too much. The staff were very polite, cordially and very efficient. It was nice visit and the food was fresh and tasted good. Overall it’s a nice spot for a sub but the steak and cheese will set you back a bit. It’s a decent sized sandwich and maybe it’s just sticker shock.

Neighborhood grunge at South Beach PRICES!!! For years this was a favorite of mine. I hadn’t been in a long time. It’s half the size it used to be dark and cramped. The dust and dirt is caked on the fan and hanging from the fire extinguisher. It is what it is for a college dive. The shock came when the cashier charged me $25. Shame on me for not looking. I thought the price would match the locale. When I questioned it. The cashier calmly replied “you got a soda. “ yeah $4.50 for a fountain drink. POW!!! That’s about $4.25 pure profit. Never going back.
The next day I had the same sub with chips and a soda in South Miami. In a pleasant feeling place that was actually clean for $17.00.

I had not been to this place for years. I am now living in the area and decided to stop by. I figured I was in the wrong spot because when I walked in it was extremely small. Apparently, it reduced in size. The ceilings and vents are filthy! The place dirty and sticky. Cleanliness at this establishment was not what it was years ago. The bread was not as fresh as I remembered. The Cheese Steak was not a perfect 10 which this place had a while back. Last but not least, $21.00 for a combo. It is clear to me that this is not the same owners.

Been coming here manyyyyyyy years. Yesterday’s sandwiches were the best so far. We had the honey mustard and cheese steak. First time having it delivered got my order fast with no issues. Driver communicated with me very well. Two thumbs up.

It’s good to rediscover this sub shop, I have been there in years. It’s still under the same owner, who was there working. The subs are great as always, there was plenty of meat in the cheese steak and it’s always made to order. We sat down had our soda and chips while we waited for the subs. When it was done we got or subs and the owner asked if we wanted to pay later so we can enjoy it while it’s hot and fresh. The subs are absolutely Subrageous!
