Reviews
The place truly gives a Telugu culture vibe simple, homely, and comforting.
The seating is small and adjustable, so don’t expect a spacious setup, but it works fine for a quick meal.
Food highlights:
• Poori was really good and fresh
• Bonda (Mysore Bajji) was crispy and satisfying
• Fish fry was flavorful and well-seasoned
• ☹️Panner dish was not good at all but
Sambar tasted authentic and comforting
• ❤️ ❤️ ponganaluuuuu oh my goddddd and Coffee is made with Bru, decent and does the job
Overall, the food quality and taste definitely stand out more than the ambiance. The ambiance is okay-ish, but the flavors make it worth giving a try, especially if you’re craving Telugu-style food.
Would definitely come back for the poori and bonda again ✨
Veg manchuria – 13.99
Veg fried rice – 11.99
Paneer momo – 14.99
Please don’t order indo-chinese, try only pulav’s and snacks.
I gave them another shot. Mutton pulav and gongura fish pulav ( there is no biryani there.. It’s all pulav)
Came home and after having the food… I give this food 10/10
This food had the right spice, and flavor… I’m blown away by the mutton pulav. Changing to a 5 star
Edit
Taking ownership requires a lot. As the food had flavor changing it to 3 stars

Drove 30 minutes from Downers Grove after seeing some reviews, but this place was a letdown. The restaurant looked dead, with no atmosphere, and the front desk staff didn’t say a word the entire time, which made it feel even more unwelcoming.
I ordered the Goat Hyderabadi Biryani from their special board, while my wife got the Paneer Biryani to-go. The prices were surprisingly high for a newly opened place, but we decided to give it a shot.
When we got home and opened the food, I was extremely disappointed to find they had given me chicken biryani instead of goat—despite charging me the premium price for goat, plus a tip. The rice itself had good flavor, but the chicken did not seem fresh at all. The Paneer Biryani was decent but nothing special.
Mixing up an order, especially when charging premium prices, is unacceptable. I hope they don’t do this to other customers. Definitely not coming back.
I wish them great success without loosing there passion for what she is doing.
I think her belief in her cooking and quality will bless her with huge name and fame in future.
This is not a paid review and coming from a Foodie himself, I will respond to every answers if someone like to ask.
Please support this establishment to there journey to glory.
Hope one day I have to wait for a week before I get a reservation to enjoy there food.
Meanwhile don’t expect fancy decor but savor the flavor instead
God bless Subbamma
