Staff incredibly friendly. Food, the sushi amazingly fresh. Ramen soup amazing. Honestly a lot of Japanese restaurants opening in Manchester are okay these days. This one, really good. I definitely recommend! My neighbours nearby are ordering from here takeaway sushi as well it’s that good.

Absolutely love this place since it’s opened. The food is delicious with reasonable portion sizes and the servers are very helpful with recommending dishes. They’re also halal which is perfect !!

Wow! What a great addition to Urmston. Been here twice since it opened and the food is sublime , great service, nice surroundings and plenty of choice. Prices are fair for the quality of the ingredients. This will be come one of my few go to in Urmston. Highly recommend.

I was so excited to visit and they did not disappoint!! The food was fresh and delicious, with so many options we were spoilt for choice! We tried some of the hot street food options, grilled nigiri and a poke bowl, and couldn’t fault a thing. Beautiful presentation, good portions sizes; lovely, friendly and attentive staff. I’m already planning my next visit!

Subarashii absolutely exceeded all expectations, from the first bite to the last, everything was exceptional.
We started with the chilli squid, yakitori, and prawn tempura, and each dish set the tone for what turned out to be an outstanding meal. The chilli squid was perfectly tender with just the right balance of heat and crispness. The yakitori was beautifully grilled, smoky and juicy, and the prawn tempura was light, delicate, and wonderfully crunchy without feeling heavy.
For mains, we chose the Kyoto sushi platter and the chilli chicken udon. The sushi platter was a real showstopper, incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of vibrant flavours. Every piece tasted like it had been crafted with care and precision. The chilli chicken udon was equally impressive: rich, comforting, and packed with flavour, with perfectly cooked noodles and just the right level of spice.
To finish, we had chocolate mochi and strawberry dorayaki, which were the perfect sweet ending. The mochi was soft and indulgent with a luscious chocolate centre, and the strawberry dorayaki was light, fluffy, and not overly sweet, a refreshing way to round off the meal.
Overall, Subarashii delivered an unforgettable dining experience. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. We’ll absolutely be back, highly recommended to anyone who loves authentic, high-quality Japanese cuisine.

Lovely new place! We tried the bao, katsu, chicken, squid and sushi, not a bad word to say about any of it. Everything was delicious and fresh, and the katsu couldn’t have been crispier 🙂 definitely give this place a shot!

The food here was stupendous! I got The chashu pork ramen and my girlfriend got the teriyaki rice bowl. Both of us were left pleasantly surprised on such a high quality restaurant near us. The customer service was on par with the food aswell, my waiter (Jack) was nice and welcoming and described the dishes to us because we have never tried Japanese food before. Needless to say we will be coming back 😀

Had a quick lunch there Monday.. didn’t have much time.. was superb. Was served quickly and food came quickly. Really good value and really tasty. Our server Kaci was knowledgeable and recommended the taco to start, was gorgeous. Will call back soon for a more leisurely evening meal.
