A good sandwich is a pretty simple thing to get right, so it’s really disappointing this place doesn’t even come close. Stale bread, very skimpy on the meat (3 razor thin slices) 1/2” thick onion slices and what seemed like 2 cups of mustard. All six of the staff seemed distracted, disinterested and overwhelmed; no one thought to thank me for my business. All this for $8 and 20 mins of waiting when there was only one person before me. Shame.

Substation used to be my favorite place to get a sub when when I was younger since I’ve moved back I’ve been probably five times and every single time I have been so disappointed it’s either not correct and or it looks like it’s been thrown together and it’s not good very disappointed I will not eat there again.

I placed an order and then picked it up. Was told on the phone it was 20 dollars, when I picked it up it was 29. Dollars. My sub only had half of a bottom. I will not order unless I am eating there again. The one lady was so rude when I asked about the price difference. Went got a Chef Salad and pint chicken salad today and got home and I was so disappointed wasn’t much of a salad there allot less lettuce and toppings on it today then it has ever been.. the chicken salad was over done with lots of mayonnaise that’s all you really taste was the mayo yuck. And was gave half pickle. I paid for extra oil and vinegar and got 1 small little Ounce cup. I won’t be back there for a while. All the good people that fixed good salads and subs has quit it’s not the same.

We’re new to the area and have recently sworn off eating out at large chains because the quality has declined so badly while the prices are higher than ever. But we just didn’t feel like cooking tonight and I regret nothing.
The staff was great and the sandwich was twice as good.The meat cuts were really tasty and the bread was so soft. They showed me the loaf before I ordered but I swear that sandwich was at least 2 inches bigger than the loaf they showed me!
See that picture there? That piece of lettuce is all that was left. 10 out of 10 will revisit
