I’ve been wanting to try Sub Culture for a while, and I’m so glad I finally did! With all the usual chain options out there—Subway, Jimmy John’s, Jersey Mike’s, etc.—this place absolutely blew my expectations away.

I had The Bullet, and wow—packed with ham, turkey, and some crazy-good bacon. Just a good old-fashioned, hearty sandwich done right, and at a fantastic price ($14).

The vibe is awesome—fun retro Mario games, cool movie posters, 80’s music, and a super friendly staff that makes you feel right at home.

I’ll definitely be back. Very, very good!

Overall, the sandwiches we ordered (Chicken Salad & Snoop Daggy Dag) were VERY tasty, but for $35+, we were disappointed by the portions we received.

Being a NJ native, I’m used to big subs so I was anticipating that the subs would be loaded with meats/toppings, but theywere thin and I could count the strings of lettuce that were on the chicken salad sandwich.

If you’re in a pinch and don’t mind spending $15/sandwich at a local business, this is a great option, but I would have rather spent less money on a bigger sub from Wawa or Jersey Mike’s.

This place is great! A huge selection of delicious sandwiches from a very fun and creative menu. The vibe is very fun, with vintage movie posters and 3 game consoles set up to play. Oh, and the sandwiches are huuge!

The food was amazing, a lot to choose from if you wanna keep it simple or get fancy/experimental. The staff is extremely friendly as well and helpful! In terms of atmosphere, what a vibe! The music is that punk rock metal, the old school arcade/video games, everything was amazing. Highly recommend!

This place was on my friends list of places to check out for a while. We were actually right around the corner so we jumped in. Wow!!! Love this place!!! Love Angel and Jill!!! The makers of yum.

I had a roast beef sandwich. The bread was that crusty chewy Italian. Roast beef was tender and thin cut slices. Tomatoes are diced !!! I love it diced!!! There isnt a tomato slice pulling out when you take a bite. So brilliant!!!

My foodie friend had a brisket with those fried onion rings!!! We ate half our sandwich and we were stuffed. Leftovers are the best!!!

Love this place!!!

Sub Culture is a hidden gem for movie buffs and sandwich lovers alike. The moment you step in, you’re surrounded by a wall of nostalgia cult classic movie posters everywhere, from The Jerk and Big Lebowski to Pulp Fiction and Boyz n the Hood. The vibe is effortlessly cool, like stepping into a pop culture time capsule.

I ordered the Linkin Parm, a sausage parmesan sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious—hearty, flavorful, and super satisfying. I made a special request to spice up the sauce a bit, and they nailed it. Great food, great atmosphere, and solid service. Definitely a spot worth revisiting!

First time ordering from Sub Culture.
Pastrami sandwich with mustard, coleslaw, and french fries.

I have to say the food was delicious. Customer service was excellent, and the hospitality was very nice. I would recommend to family and friends to visit this small takeout restaurant. I will visit again

Coolest throwback vibes and nicest staff ever. Husband got “The Bear” Chicago Beef and a super stuffed brisket sandwich. Both were delicious, and we especially appreciated the giardiniera on top of the Chicago Beef. They had ready-to-play retro video games, so we did a few bouts of Street Fighter while waiting for the husband’s pick-up order, and once it was ready the awesome lady helping us that day encouraged us to stay and play more games. You’re the best!

If you’re looking for a good sandwich, look no further. This is the spot you must hit up. The bread was perfectly toasted and layering was balanced for an incredible bite. I’ll be interested in trying more of their different sandwiches next time.

Casual and quick with a VERY expansive selection of sandwiches. The Kevin bacon was good, a bit too much lettuce. The chicken salad sandwich was also really good – rye toast was a great choice.
