Very good place for food! Their X-tudo is so good. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that sometimes their food can taste a bit stale, like if some of their ingredients are a bit old. But this has only happened 3 times out of 10. I still go because it’s so good. You just gotta mention it so they can change it!

The food was okay, not the best. I got the hamburger and they charged me $12!! The prices on the Menus are whited outed, so don’t trust the prices online. They charged me $7 for a Hot Dog that was a shame to be served. The dinning area is gloomy and dark, it was not a good experience. I recommend going some place else!

Prices have gone up and the quality has gone down. Just look at this picture and you’ll see what I mean. This is supposed to be the “bacon”. It looked like a very slow day, and they still serve me this. Very disappointed as I used to love this place. Will not be coming back.

Never been one to post complaining about a restraunt but i was disgusted by not only the food we received but the staffs disrespect at Suave Sabor in Newark NJ on Ferry Street. When i approached the waitress about the food and told her that the food was filled with molded cheese and that’s absolutely disgusting, her response was “i’ll have them make another one” no sorry or anything as the other staff laughed in our faces. We told her we weren’t paying and we didn’t want anything else. I completely understand a mistake is a mistake but there’s no way our plates of food was in 3 different peoples hands and not one noticed it. WE RECEIVED TWO PLATES LIKE THIS WITH MOLDED CHEESE… This place will never get our business again.

I honestly can’t figure out why this place is still open. I will say that the lady who took our order was very nice. However, when they charge $28 for two sandwiches, being nice isn’t good enough. First of all the menu on the window outside was very outdated and the menus inside looked old and had the prices marked over. According to the old menus the sandwiches should have been $6.50, but the price was double that. I wouldn’t have been that upset if the food was actually good. The sandwiches were not hot and the bread was stale, which was crazy because we were the only customers in there and we had to wait a while for the food.

suave sabor is an excellent Brazilian restaurant located in Newark NJ that is open 24 hours, they have delivery, pickup, and where you can go to enjoy its pleasant atmosphere; It is affordable as far as price, and easy parking is found. Horrible food. I ordered 5 pastels with meat, and 3 cheese, and they all smelled and tasted very weird.
Thought the meat might be bad, so I went back inside to complain to the cashier. He said the meat was brand new and didn’t even want to look at it. He wouldn’t even give me a new one.
My family couldn’t eat the meat ones because of how bad it tasted (sour and expired). We ended up attempting to eat the cheese ones, but even those tasted a little weird.
Not sure about the rest of the food there, but definitely DO NOT recommend you eat the pastel.
I paid more than $75, and had to throw it all away. The food there is just very expensive and isn’t even worth it.
