Suasday or Susaday pronounced [souss-tei] is the Khmer way of saying hello or welcome and there is no better way to embody that than a comforting meal. Suasday’s menu consists of scratch cooking, from fresh-ground galangal, lemongrass, and turmeric to slow braised curry brisket while operationally built to cater guests that are constantly moving and on the go. Sandwiches and salads anchor the menu at Suasday but diners will also be able to enjoy house made drinks and desserts such as calamansi limeade, Cambodian cold brew coffee, and pandan custard desserts.

Suasday, a tiny Cambodian sandwich shop, is arriving in Boston’s North End on June 10 with toasted baguettes stuffed with fillings such as kroeung beef curry.

It’s pretty rare for me to find a Cambodian sandwich shop. When I walked by here, I knew I had to stop and get one. It’s a smaller shop with some standing space to enjoy your meal. I ordered the Krueng Beef Curry sandwich and was blown away with the flavors of the meat. It reminded me of eating home cooked meals. I liked that the bread was toasted, so you get that crunch with every bite. The owner was super friendly and conversed with us when he had a large order to prepare. I’m glad that I got a chance to visit this shop.

I tried the half lemongrass chicken sandwich with chips and a drink, very cheap and a good quality sandwich.
I wish this place gets discovered by fellow foodies, it is a great addition to Hanover Street.

What an addition to the North End! My favorite sandwich is the Kroeung beef curry (sriracha + jalapeños). The bread is so good and the sandwiches are the perfect size. Love that they have salads/ bowls as well with plenty of dressing options! The Cambodian Cold Brew is fantastic, as well as the Pandan pudding. Will be back for sure!

Some great bahn me and bowls for take out! Bahn me had some fresh ingredients and you can tell that the bread was fresh because it was still fluffy. Also had a sweet sausage salad bowl, which sounds kind of weird but taste pretty good. I think the sweetness must be some sort of teriyaki sauce that has been marinating for a bit. Wanting a little snack while walking through the North End I stumbled upon Suasday Sandwich Co. and split the Kroeung Beef Curry sandwich with my friend who had never had a Vietnamese style sandwich before. The bread was nice and fresh. There was plenty of meat and all the ingredients were very fresh. This was the best in Boston I’ve had so far, and I’ve tried many places all throughout the burroughs. Absolutely delicious!!!! Very well priced too!

Dined in, appreciated the chargers and direct sunlight. You can hear a lil noise from next door but it’s largely quiet when not packed.
Had a Kroeung Beef Curry with a Calamansi Limeade. Prices in line with area, tasted really good, made a mess with the fresh bread and sauces that went everywhere. Used the cucumber slices like fries to dip into the extra sauces. Delicious, but wish it was spicy, very mild for curry. Limeade was sweet to the point of making me pucker and went well with the Sammy.
Will be coming back for the other sandwiches.
