Well… you could not finish my 1/2 chicken with a side salad and yuka. This means that the portions are pretty good size. The food was delicious and the service was fast. For 1/2 chicken and Malanesa de polls we paid $32 (no drinks). They offered water cups and we took them. The white sauce is mayo like, the green is spicy (you have been warned). I would recommend to friends.

My first time here and the food was amazing! Everything was super fresh and the chicken was juicy and flavorful! The yucca was fresh. The only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t have a big variety of sides but everything was on point! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Small spot, looks like they just renovated their restaurant. When I got there around 1pm, there was a 30 minute wait for dark chicken so I instead got a steak and cheese as I’m not a fan of white meat. Portion size is very reasonable and generous!
Although, they did have one piece of dark meat left which I got for my girlfriend, she thought it was a little salty, I thought it tasted pretty good!
For steak and cheese and a quarter of chicken ran me around $33 (including 2 waters and a coconut water)

Delicious, well spiced, juicy chicken. The same is true with the steak, flavorful rice, and crispy yuca chips. The ladies behind the counter were great. I would definitely recommend this place

This seems like a mom and pop type of place when you walk inside. The place was dated, and the staff was busy cooking and serving. They have a good menu displayed with many food items to choose from.
I ordered the whole chicken with rice and beans and plantains and salad for a family of four.
The chicken was perfectly cooked, you could taste the wood fire it was cooked over and rice and beans went perfect with the chicken.
This place is worth spending money on if you crave south Latino food!!!! I am a fan and will be back again to try more of their food listed on the menu and get more of their chicken.

Been coming here for a decade and at the old location. Can’t go wrong with the chicken on the rotisserie. The smells and juiciness of the chicken cannot be replicated.

While in the Alexandria area, I visited this restaurant because it’s consistent but pricey for what you get. Had the Lomo Saltado (white rice, french fries, onions and tomatoes mixed in with Maggi and soy sauce and was good and somewhat traditional peruvian flavors. It comes with two small little sauces. They’ll charge you extra, if you want additional sauce. Service is non existent since you have to place the order at the register and then they call your number. Cashier is not friendly and there’s hardly any eye contact, let alone a “thank you”. Finding a clean table, can be a challenge at times. However had previous positive experience even at the old location.

The food is awesome. I got the chicken and steak combo with a Peruvian drink and the rice and beans and plantains as sides. The chicken is seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I wish the steak was a bit more rare, but the seasoning, sauces and the fact the meat was tender overcame my usual desire to see more pink. I am always skeptical about getting rice and beans, but they blended well and I enjoyed adding some of the green spice to add some kick (never really know where I am supposed to use sauces on the side, but I manage to find delicious ways to consume them). The place is a bit dated, but there was signage they were moving to a new location. I didn’t see a specific date listed.
