We were looking for a great place to eat BBQ. We asked the locals in the area. They all Said Stutts is the place to be. They were not wrong. The BBQ was excellent and that buttermilk pie will make you slap your Momma. (In a good way). ALMEADA was so sweet. We will all be back. The place is an absolute gem, and so is she! Here is to another 30 years! You deserve it! Oh, did I mention the boys made the news?

True Tulsa BBQ from a legend and staple in the community! Stutts definitely lived up to its name.

I got the 2-meat platter — pork ribs and chopped brisket — with potato salad and baked beans. The pork ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, pairing perfectly with the spicy sauce. The chopped brisket was that classic, smoky goodness and absolutely hit the spot.

The “tater” salad was solid and exactly what you’d expect, but the baked beans were the real star — jammy, rich, and delicious.

The service was exceptional, and I truly came in as a stranger and left as a friend. The restaurant was clean, comfortable, and well kept.

I love the atmosphere. It reminds me of my favorite mom/pop restaurants when I was younger. The food is delicious, great value, and served with love!

My goodness! I forgot to leave a review! Where to start? Well they’re woman owned and from what my husband told me extremely welcoming and kind. They have an AMAZING buttermilk pie and the BEST BBQ sauce I’ve ever had. Their sides are flavorful and amazingly priced and you can’t beat that homey feeling the place gives you from the moment you walk in. I plan on using them for thanksgiving this year if they can accommodate that, because after two spinal surgeries in a month I won’t be back on my feet in time to do my own cooking. But I know any special occasion is in good hands with these folks! So if you’ve been driving by wondering if they’re any good I encourage you to stop in and try them out, you won’t be disappointed!

Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a long time. They were out of the sides we ordered so she brought potato salad without even asking, and then didn’t even offered to not charge us for it even though we didn’t eat it. $11 for three little ribs with barely any meat on them. $10 for tiny little barbecue sandwiches that use Walmart buns. Didn’t bring the drinks out until after we were done eating. $40 for probably the worst meal I’ve had in years. Do not recommend this place at all.

Stutts House of BBQ is a North Tulsa black owned institution. The bbq today with delicious with St.Louis ribs, hot links and smoked chicken was very good. The baked beans were sweet and filling. The potato salad had just the right amount of mustard not to be a distraction. The Sunday Special included smoked chicken, cornbread dressing with gravy, green beans, croissant and blackberry cobbler for $12.99! My only complaint was that the smoked beef was diced so small I couldn’t get a good bite of the texture. The place is small but Mrs Stutts and the patrons were all friendly.

Good – ****
I dont think you can get their lunch special as cheap as they give anywhere else. It comes with two meat(select two from ribs/chicken/beef brisket/hot link) baked beans, potato salad along with a buttermilk pie and 2 pieces of bread..The ribs were chewy.. Baked beans are the best. Hot links were ok. Potato salad was good. The ambience is not that great. Its a small restaurant in north tulsa. Overall it was an ok experience

Don’t expect fine dining. You get great food. Service like your in mommas kitchen. Mind your manners and use your napkins. One of the few ORIGINAL bbq places in Tulsa. Get some sauce to go.

So good! The place is a tad small and the prices are a little up there, but I guess everything is going up in price. HOWEVER the food was incredibly worth it!! I enjoyed everything! Try the sausage link, you won’t regret it.

Fab-u-lous little place. Just put on National historic places. A must see!!! Built a new outside deck that plays great music, has lights for nighttime dinners. Inside they have extended their dining area to accommodate more hungry eaters. Open on Mondays now and serving a Christmas dinner. Definitely stop here for all your hunger needs.

The Buttermilk Pie is the bomb.!!!
Enjoy.
