I really just have to be honest on this one. It’s seems to be a restaurant for the sixty five and older ladies and gentlemen.
It’s cafeteria style food that is somewhat bland, and the choices are fairly limited.
It was very disappointing to see a home style restaurant that serves instant mashed potatoes, and the other vegetables seem to be canned.
I highly recommend this place if you’d like to take your elderly grandparent out for lunch.
The staff are very friendly, so there are no complaints in that department.
The decor is straight up nursing home, but it’s still serves old style country cuteness.

Right now haven’t even got my meal yet and I love this place the service is amazing And there drinks are huge.Its a total blast from the past with its homey exterior and an even homier interior design.They have nice booths up front then unlike Texas Roadhouse they actually have tables for big families. I love the atmosphere. I ordered there Philly steak omelette and oh boy I am excited

My husband and I stopped in tonight after a game at Northwestern. It was good, I had fish and chips with cole slaw. The fish was not greasy at all and lightly battered. The bread came to the table and it was really good. The yellow cake with the Carmel icing was the best part. Our waitress was super sweet and she was great! We left full and happy!

One of the absolute worst dining experiences in my 55 years of living. 2:15 min from pulling into the parking lot to the cold food that we’re finally served. I was yelled at when I inquired as to the time it took for our food to arrive. No apologies, nothing but excuses. Would never eat here again.

Love to visit for a simple breakfast with family. Great to just sit and chit chat. Very busy right in the morning when they first open o Saturdays but settles pretty quickly once everyone is seated.

I just simply love this place. My dad and I came here a lot and now when I visit I feel like I’m still with my dad. The food is great, the service is great, the atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. It’s almost like your eating in Grandma’s kitchen again.

We came in on 11/15 around 6, the host took our drink order because the server was busy. When the server came to our table she looked at us and said what do you want? I replied with a server who knows how to greet a table for starters. She then replied I’m busy I have a 10 top I’m taking care of, and took our order and left the table. About 5-6 minutes later a new server came to our table and said the previous server passed us off to her. Our food comes out and we were missing a whole meal. The server said she would have it made and came back about 10 minutes later and said they were just then starting our grand daughter’s meal. We cancelled the order because we shared our meals with her because it was taking so long.
I am personally a server myself and would NEVER greet my table with what do you want. I do believe the servers name was Jennie but not sure because she never told us her name. The host did when she sat us. Very disappointed in our visit. Horrible service all together

I honestly enjoy going to Studebaker’s. The staff are always kind and professional, and the food is absolutely perfect. The decor feels almost “retro” and reminds me a bit of the former restaurant that was there before Studebaker’s. I will for sure bring my family and friends here.
