This little off the beaten path diner offered the most fantastic Sunday soul food dinner imaginable. They were short staffed, so the wait was pretty long but worth it for fried chicken, collard greens, blackeyed peas, yams, fried okra, and hot water cornbread. All delicious. The owner/chef was delightful in spite of being harried. She was so apologetic and gracious about the slow service, but we really didn’t mind taking a break on a long multi-state drive and listening to gospel music. Highly

Had Stuckey’s Diner for Sunday dinner and it was so satisfying. I had fried chicken, cream corn, yams, and turnips! The staff greeted me with a smile and my wait wasn’t long at all. I most definitely will be back! If you need a good soul food spot when you don’t feel like cooking, this is definitely the place to go.
