Use to love this place but it is getting worse and worse… prices keep going up and the food keeps getting smaller and worse… this was suppose to be a bacon cheese burger with extra bacon, dressed… and large frie… yea so not happy and will not be going back it’s not worth the time, money, or effort

My parents were building their house in Angie, La and was buying lunch for the work crew, DAILY. $100’s of dollars a week….. Unfortunately my mom overheard one of the woman cooks, all the way in the kitchen, complaining about having to do her job, which was, cook the food. So, they never returned. I’ve been in the restaurant industry for over 26 years. Learn to control what you say in front of customers…. You never know when your going to lose a possible regular, that would help grow your business in these hard times. I hope the owner reaches out to me about this situation. My parents are good people and they don’t like to drive too far to eat. So, your place was perfect for them, and now they just won’t go anymore.

We arrived about 1 on a Saturday. Inside waiting for their food was one family and on man. No greeting. Sat on old torn chair covers. Place was dingy looking. When back and picked up menues. Ordered one catfish platter, one chicken tender platter and one shrimp salad. Also one large order of onion rings which I specified we wanted as an appetizer. The family and the man finally got their food about 20 minutes later. At 45 minutes and still no food I went up to see. I was told they were ” working on it”. 10 minutes later she brought our food. Absolutely ridiculous that it took that long. The catfish was good as were the fries8. The chicken tenders were not seasoned or breaded, just thrown in the oil and fried. Pretty tasteless. There was suppose to be a side salad with the platters. Never got them, also never got the onion rings. The young lady working the counter had very little interaction, zero smiles or checking on us. Also the shrimp in the salad were a weird gray color and totally unedible. Cost $50 for 3 tasteless chicken tenders, 2 pieces of fish, fries, one bad salad which apparently only came with ranch dressing, and 3 drinks. After a 55 minute wait in an almost empty restaurant. Never again!

Got me an 8pc fried chicken this evening and this is way better than popeyes. Not gonna drive to bogalusa anymore for fried chicken. Not a single piece was undercooked, overcooked, or dry. The crusting didnt have any hard areas and to top it off – was delicious. I got mac and cheese the day before, and you can just tell this cook cares for everything that leaves that kitchen. Will be going back.

I think a bunch of kids running a lemonade stand could do better. If you do their lunches…you will be fine…They have nothing but dark meat which I do not eat. Popeyes is just 20 minutes down the road. Seems like every time we call for a roast beef poboy they are out of bread and want us to buy it on a bun…Ain’t that hard folks…We just buy it elsewhere…We got to where now we don’t leave Bogalusa or Columbia without calling ahead.

My girlfriend and I ate lunch takeout from here today and it cost $30 for 2 lunches which I thought was a little expensive. The food was good but the amount of food that was given just wasn’t enough for the price being charged. So for the amount of food I had in my box I’m giving them 3 stars. If my box would have been full like they used to make all their lunches I would have given 5 stars all day.

Always having to wait 20mins after I called ot in over 25mins . Plus the owner is always so rude and I never seen her jump in and help when the waitresses are behind.. she just sits there was talks to the regular crowd while the employees bust there butt
They are always running out of fries, chicken tenders and fish so basically most of the time all u can order is hanbugars r hamburger steak dinners with double salad bc no fries. Never has lids for there to go cup that cost 4 $ almost for a hot can drink pound over ice…..

Our first visit. Enjoyed the cheeseburgers but ask them NOT to toast the buns. The buns get to hard the way they toast them. A grilled bun in butter would be much better and more traditional. The burgers were delicious.

A local brought us to this place. It was our first and last visit. Our food was served cold.. like came out a refrigerator cold not from sittng out too long. When we asked what could be done the server said they could throw the chicken back in the fryer to be fried a second time. My chicken was baked. Our food took 30 minutes to bring out one item. Then only one person”s food was brought out every 5 to 10 minutes. So we could not eat as we were waiting on everyone to get there food. We probably sat there for about an hour before the whole table was finally served their food. There was only 4 of us and we ordered the “daily special” except for one which was ordered hamburger and fries. We literally had a whole conversation about fries with the server bc they had to be ordered a la carte. The server showed us on the menu and we requested her to make sure to add fries.. Of course the order was messed up, the server said she didnt order fries eventhough we had an entire conversation just about fries.
We tried to give her the benefit of the doubt but she didnt try to apologize nor try to fix it. She had a poor attitude with no regard to customer service.
I would not recommend or suggest this place. They have absolutely no customer service & poor food quality. The local that brought us there was shocked. She said they must have had an ownership change. She could not believe how bad the food and service was. She was apologetic for recommended us go.
