1/8/26 Stopped by to pick up a carry out pizza order. First time visiting here. I called in our order and it was ready within the 15 mins it took me to get there. Mom and I ordered the large 16’ inch Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza. Friendly staff, we were greeting quickly upon entering. The young lady who waited on us was kind enough to carry our pizza out to the car for us. (I’m in a walking boot and my mom has mobility issues.) You didn’t have to do that but thank you so much! ☺️ Our pizza was good! Mom and I will definitely be back soon to try more menu items and maybe have a special from the bar. Nice neighborhood pizza spot even though I live in Pleasant Ridge can’t wait to stop in again!

We’ve been here a couple of times and absolutely loved the experience each time. The food is consistently amazing! Their pizzas are generously loaded with toppings and cheese, with a perfectly balanced crispy-yet-soft crust. The sauce is incredibly flavorful and really ties everything together.
The spinach artichoke dip is a must-try. It is rich, creamy. The Caesar salad is super refreshing, and the dressing is one of the best I’ve ever had , creamy, tangy, and full of flavor.
The sangrias are great too — light, fruity, and refreshing.
Service has been consistently good, attentive without being overbearing. Overall, this place is a gem. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

We got appetizers… mozzarella sticks, meatballs and chicken wings. We also got the 10″ Margherita pizza and a 16″ creat your own (pepperoni bacon and onions).
Meatballs- the sauce is good, a little thick and a lot of cheese.
Mozzarella sticks come in 6 pcs perfectly done with a little sauce on top.
Chicken wings- I love the wings!!! with garlic Parmesan sauce and blue cheese on the side.
The pizza is delicious. Not overwhelming on the sauce. Just perfect amount of everything!!! This will be in our top 3 best pizza in our list.
Brick oven really makes the difference when it comes to crust!!!
Overall rating is 5 stars!!! And will definitely come back with the whole family next time!

This place is perfect for reading! Family friendly restaurant and great pizza! I’m giving a 4 on food bc this pizza was burnt but the meatballs were excellent as they always are!! Great staff! A little pricey but if u want a good pizza u gotta pay for it! We will be back!

Strong ‘s brick oven is located in Reading right on Reading road, just a little bit south of Evendale. It’s very easy to access from 75 North. I have driven by it a million times and never really noticed it. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. But inside, it is a fabulous authentic Italian restaurant. It is a surprisingly large Italian restaurant with lots of booths and tables and a wood burning brick oven in the middle of the place. The pizza chefs are working in the middle of the restaurant and putting pizzas in the oven. There’s also a very large, nicely stocked bar with local beer on tap from Esoteric and Rhinegeist. The whole restaurant is very clean, warm, and cozy, with authentic Italian decor. Lots of tables and booths with red leather bench seating, chairs, and stained glass overhead lights. The food was delicious. The pizzas were straight out of the oven with thick, warm crusts and lots of toppings. The antipasto salad was very good with fresh lettuce and thinly sliced deli meats and nice crusty Italian bread. The meatball appetizer was more than enough for a entree – with three large delicious meatballs and sweet tomato sauce. The waitresses were very attentive, capable, and friendly. The only disconcerting thing was that the waitresses brought the fresh food straight out from under the archway marked “restrooms.” But it turns out they were coming from the main kitchen which is down that same hallway, opposite the actual restrooms. Aside from that little misunderstanding, this was a great casual Italian dining experience. So if you’re looking for a larosa’s alternative, with a very similar but more authentic Italian vibe, and one with a brick oven pizza in the middle of the room and a very nicely appointed bar that you can sit at, check out this place in Reading.

Stumbled upon this eatery by chance, so I decided to take a chance and a great chance it was. The location was easy to find, the service was great. I was greeted upon entering the establishment and my order was taken right away. My visit was my first visit but it will not be my last visit. My pie was fresh and made to order, which was a 10″half & half speciality pizza. The next time I visit Cincinnati, this place will definitely be on the list of stops.

The Neopolitan style pizza they serve was very tasty, served hot, fresh & fast. No complaints about the food.
The Cannolis were fantastic, tasted homemade.
Only downside was the booth we were seated had a very lumpy, broken down bench that was extremely uncomfortable.
Restaurant just lacked finishing touches & a bit of pizzeria ambience so for that reason I’d just do take out next time if I am back in the area.

Great ambiance. Wings are some of the best I’ve had. Everything made fresh and quick. Pizzas were superb. Not your chain style at all. Apple Dessert pizza unbelievable. Gluten free options do not taste like cardboard like most. Service great too.
