My family visiting from New Jersey went to this restaurant. Two older adults and two younger adults. The restaurant was fantastic!
There were menus posted outside so you can check out the choices. Drinks and food- everything was good, but the shrimp and brisket were excellent!
OMG the desserts –
Banana cheesecake trifle and lemon bars with strawberry sauce. Oh yeah, big plus that makes his place One of the ones we will go back to is that the entire staff was pleasant and our waiter, Timothy, was professional, friendly, made great suggestions and also made our drinks. Look at the funky epoxy tables! Very cool vibe at Strong Waters!

My wife and I had the best experience here! We sat at the bar and Haley was our server/bartender. She was so much fun and really knew her stuff! The was hustling throughout the night for her guests along with helping her coworkers when they needed it. We also enjoyed the live music. We will definitely be back, thanks to Haley! Jasmine was super fun as well.

This place is a total vibe!! We had such an amazing experience the first night, we looked for other places in the area to eat but ended up going back to Strong Waters. The drinks and food were phenomenal. They had a young girl playing live music. The young girl from the 1st night could literally sing anything you requested. She was a doll and absolutely killed it. She was great! The guy the 2nd night was a letdown after her performance the night before. He had a nice voice but couldn’t do any of our requests ♀️. We really loved our pregnant waitress from the first night. The lady on the 2nd night was okay. Overall, a complete 10/10!

We had a great experience for happy hour at Strong Waters in late February.
We had the sliders and the low country shrimp dip and both were excellent.
There were some amazing cocktails on their menu but we stuck with beer (in my case it was because of the great happy hour price, and for my husband that’s just pretty much all he drinks).
There was little crowd on this Friday during the early part of happy hour but there is plenty of room in this place to handle the uptick of folks headed in now for spring and summers. Some of the staff seemed to still be training but they were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.
Food was fantastic and the prices at happy hour were incredible.
There was a gentleman setting up for live music as we left and I wish we could have stayed for that. We’ll be back in a few weeks and this place is likely to end up on our list of places we will return. We typically stay at one of the HGVC resorts and all 3 are walking distance which is a plus for us but this place would be worth a drive into downtown.
Even our favorite bartender down the road likes this place 🙂

FANTASTIC time at Strong Waters! After dropping our son at CCU, we had our first “date night” (in a while) and chose Strong Waters. The service was EXCELLENT by Sky (the server) and Di (the bartender). The cocktails were mixed with care and delicious. The food was incredible and original as we tried the unique things offered on the menu. Although tucked away and hard to find (as a “speakeasy” should be ;), this is definitely a diamond in the rough. Find it, and enjoy it! Highly recommended.

Food, atmosphere and service was good, did feel that the cost was a little high and my fish in my fish tacos was a bit dry. It was good but not “Great” food. Best thing we had was the crab cake which I didn’t get a photo of, because it was gone before I thought of it. We would be willing to try this place again.

So was VERY nervous to go after so many negative reviews but I loved the menu and it was close to our hotel and I like to give a restaurant around here a chance having been to another restaurant that got rave reviews that I absolutely hated here in MB. So going in on high alert with low expectations we went to dinner around 8:15pm on a Sunday there was a couple at the bar and us. Dead empty so made me nervous, is it still so horrible no one is coming?? But we were immediately greeted by very friendly staff. The kind of staff I adore. Helpful, timely and efficient. Orders the truffle fries, the grilled romaine Caesar salad and the beef tenderloin that came with Gouda Mac and cheese and asparagus. They brought the fries out first to give us something to munch on while we waited for our meals, it was a huge plate of fries. There’s a hint of truffle in there but in general your basic edible fries that I can live without. Now my salad was HUGE fresh well made and so filling. The beef tenderloin was melt in your mouth tender well cooked and the flavors were excellent we hate mushrooms and even ate the mushrooms that were on it that’s how well cooked it all was. Our food came out in a timely manner and then the chef came out to see how we liked our meal. Please NOTE: they have a new chef working there who has been there the last 3 months only and he talked how much he enjoys cooking and how this doesn’t feel like a job to him. Great guy. So if you haven’t been in the last 3 months give this place a try again and to new folks I highly recommend it. This place was fantastic clean, nicely decorated and I look forward to eating there on our next visit. I let the other reviews scare me off initially so wanted to leave my own. They also have a cool drink menu, wine and beers on draft.

Great little craft drink venue on the Strip. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff and occasional live music. The drinks tasted great, and there were some very creative cocktail recipes. My only complaint was that these great recipes were all served over bar ice instead of the large ice balls that several deserved.

Beautiful cocktails and tasty food! If you are at myrtle beach and want a well crafted cocktail you can’t do better than strong waters. I was here for 4 days and went 5 times.
Best drink was the Ruby Rose!
The service was very good and attentive and when we went in quiet moments they came and chatted with us.
The atmosphere feels hidden speakeasy the only downside was that when busy it was a little loud, especially when there’s live music. Good prices and a great time.
