Stopped in as part of my quest to visit all 100 counties in NC, and I had a really great chat with the staff before picking up some pastries and hibiscus lemonade. The lemonade was SO good. Tart without being overly sweet. My scone was pretty good but my pop tart didn’t travel quite as well LOL
Lots of various seating and nice parking in downtown which is cute to browse. Will definitely stop in the next time I’m the area.

10/ 10!! The service, the food, the atmosphere, all 10 out of 10. We ordered French toast with caramel and pecans…. Chef’s kiss! Added sausage and eggs…. Absolutely delicious. I also had to try a croissant. Did eat it yet but it looks and smells delicious too. Listen don’t walk… Run to strong arm. Thank you for making our day.

I frequently visit family in Oxford, and during my most recent trip, I finally stopped by Strong Arm Bakery (Monday, February 16) for the first time. I purchased a variety of baked goods to share with my colleagues at the office, and everything was absolutely delicious!
From the freshness to the flavor, every item was a hit—my coworkers couldn’t stop raving about how good everything tasted. It’s clear that quality and care go into what they make.
Oxford has some wonderful local gems, including Family Diner (owned by two of my cousins), and I’m excited to now add Strong Arm Bakery to my regular stops whenever I’m in town. Highly recommend!

The pastries and sandwiches here are delicious!! I tried the oatmeal cream sammie, and it was sooooo good. I also had a lemonade and Turkey Brie sandwich. The food is fresh, the staff was friendly, and the restuarant was clean and inviting.

Worth the drive. The roasted chicken sandwich was absolutely unreal. Crunchy, flavorful ciabatta. Luscious sauce, juicy chicken, bright arugula, and melted cheese. The chocolate croissant was chock full of high quality chocolate with buttery, flaky pastry. Do not sleep on this place. I’m going to be a regular.

I do walk in purchases and this bread bakery never disappoints. The people are very nice, the items are always fresh. They do have a menu however I typically am picking up fresh baked breads and muffins. Love it!!!

I’ve never actually been to the store, but strong arm made my mornings being at the Durham farmers market every Saturday. I looked forward to their pastry’s every single week. My favs are the prosciutto and cheese croissant and blueberry muffin, but everything is good. I get so excited for their seasonal specials and their sourdough is delicious too. Always worth the wait if you go to the Durham farmers market!!

This place is great. Happened in by mistake to be honest. Music was great and even though we couldn’t order sandwiches, they had so many DELICIOUS, handmade desserts and pastries nothing else was missed. The staff is amazing and fun. The gifts, small cups, tshirts, and hoodies are whimsical and funny. DO NOT pass up this place. I intend to go back even though they are an hour away from me. Someone, I assume tge owner, gave us some free treats as we were leaving.

That was the best damn Reuben I’ve ever eaten. I don’t even review often but it was truly the best Reuben sandwich ever. MUST TRY.

Not only is their food delicious (their chicken pot pie is the epitome of cozy on a wintry day) and have a fun, unique rotating menu, but their customer service goes above and beyond. With their quality of product and superb kindness/go ‘out of their way to help you’ mindset, I will always be a loyal Strong Arm Bakery customer!
