Charming spot with solid Italian food. The service was kind and prompt. You order at a counter and they bring food to you.
We were immediately served (complementary!) yummy bread and butter. We had cheese pizza and. Chicken pasta with lemon garlic sauce and sundried tomatoes and artichoke. I couldn’t believe the freshness of both. The pasta was cooked right in front of us in the open kitchen. I saw the flames from the stove! The chicken in the pasta was well prepared and tender. The sauce was light and savory and perfect for soaking up with the extra bread. The salads looked fresh and had plenty of toppings.
Overall I was impressed by the quality and taste.

Love this place and been going here for maybe 2 decades now. Great, friendly service with wonderful, delicious food that is made where you can watch the awesome chef prepare it if you like. Wish I still lived closer to it or we’d get it more often.

My husband and I received the menu in the mail and decided to give Stromboli’s a try. And we were not disappointed. The food was delicious and quick. The prices were amazing. Less than $20 for a filling meal for two people. We will definitely be back.

I had the Lemon Chicken Alfredo Ravioli at Stromboli Express, and it was outstanding. The creamy lemon Alfredo sauce struck a perfect balance between rich and tangy, coating tender sautéed chicken, spinach, mushrooms, and ravioli. Just visiting the Raleigh, NC area for a class, Stromboli’s Express is just around the corner, so of course it makes a very easy lunch option. One just cannot beat their lunch specials, a salad, hot fresh bread, 2 slices of pizza, and a drink, all for $10! I’m hooked, will have lunch there every day of my class. Good food, good atmosphere, and good price!

This was our first time here and the food was decent. We ordered calamari for appetizer and that came out pretty fast which is good. They were lightly fried and looked good but they seemed fishy to me. We also ordered the vegetarian pizza and that had a good taste just a little soggy. Overall it was good. Not anywhere I’d rush to get back too.

I live Italian food and missing NY style foodies. Found this gem out of nowhere while driving. Why I never heard of his place since being in this city for 5 yrs? Not the best atmosphere but who cares if the food is fantastic? Best restaurants carry the best sauce. This is one of them. Stromboli is their specialty and so delish! Daughter got checkin parm and was good too. I wanna go back tonight.
