Found this place online and decided to give it a try. The outdoor patio was unfortunately closed, so I had to take my meal to go, but the food was amazing! I got the lobster tail combo with potatoes, egg, and sausage in a delicious garlic sauce. Plus, the staff was super friendly. I wish I had tried more items, but I’m definitely looking forward to going back!

My wife and I just felt like having fried saefood, a Stroke’s Seafood was right on time. I’ll start by saying that parking could be an issue. Only a few spaces in the front of the restaurant and then you have to compete with cars on the street for parallel parking, so beware.
Stroke’s has a wide variety of seafood options: fried seafood, seafood boil, chicken options and salads. They’re $7.99 lunch specials are great value. I got the fried fish (basa) with bread and she got the 6 piece shrimp. Both meals came with fries and a soda. Took about 25 minutes to prepare but the food was absolutely delicious!!
The rear of the restaurant has plenty of seating outdoors. Stroke’s appears to be the spot for hangouts while enjoying a good meal. I saw a horshoe that may suggest horshoe games being played (there’s plenty of space so I’d be inclined to think so.) Although there’s a ton of space, it can feel a little cluttered with tables, chairs, benches, a fire pit, and recycled items.
All in all, we had a pleasant experience and the food was good. We’d definitely go back.

When we pulled up, I was a little apprehensive about this place. It’s a very small place in a more residential neighborhood. Jack took our order and was very friendly. Jack recommended some things that he said was the best. He forgot an item but apologized and quickly made it. I got the salmon dinner and a side of corn nuggets (jack recommended) and my girlfriend got a salad with chicken. We were both very happy with the taste. The food was seasoned perfectly and cooked well. The seating area out back was comfortable and a relaxing area. The only critique would be to maintain the bathrooms better. Our next trip to the area, we will be back!

I am not happy with my first time visit to Stroke’s Seafood. I ordered over the phone with a guy names Jack and asked for a snow crab tray and lobster tray, he told me my total was $80.12. He also said they are only taking cash which came to not be true. When I got my order I noticed it was not in a tray and a carry out dish, so I trust everything was fine. When I looked on the kiosk he rung me up for mussels for $15 and extra shrimp $10 and some change….. the order speaks for itself I’ll insert pics and yes I did call back once I got a chance to sit and eat my food I was DISAPPOINTED!!! There’s like barnacle on my crab legs and it’s sooo small I was charged $10 for extra shrimp and got like 6 shrimp… like this is ridiculous and when I called in Jack didn’t even show any sympathy.. Oh yeah and the food tasted old and the eggs were a brownish color and tasted old and over cooked but Jack said he cooked everything fresh. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A FOOD PLACES LIKE THIS

Ended up here after a day at Siesta Key. The snow crab boil was amazing-possibly the best ever. The sauce is full of flavor. The atmosphere is like a backyard cookout. We had on our bathing suits and were covered in sand. The owner came and chatted with us. We are from Michigan-but we will be back!

The atmosphere is amazing for a neighborhood food dive. It’s one of those diamonds in the ruff, so I thought. The service could have been better. He was pleasant but called you to pick up your food instead of bring it to your table. The customer service from the owner sucked, very disappointing, because customer service is everything. I now see why this place isn’t packed. The garlic butter is decent. I can make better, being an ex crab cooker, but I enjoyed it on my potatoes. I had so much hope on the ride over and really wish I had been treated better because I love to support my people.

First time trying this place and will 1000% be back. Amazing food, prospered fresh and flavorful! Owner is very nice and welcoming. Staff were super friendly , great music and lots of seating area. Tried their ramen bowl special and it they over delivered! Amazing taste, hot, delicious and cooked to perfection ! Definitely recommend trying and we love to support local business!

My family and I had Stroke’s seafood at the taco fest over the weekend in Lakeland. Let me tell you it was amazing. Taste very flavorful, big portions and great service. I had shrimp plate, my son snow carb plate and my older son fried fish. You won’t be disappointed. Will be stopping by the restaurant next weekend for sure. Highly recommend.

Flavor is king here. I had the snow crab dinner with added shrimp and it was amazing! The butter sauce that is over the corn and seafood is the secret weapon. Everything cooked perfectly. My wife had the mozzarella and wings. Sticks were good but the wings were fried to perfection. And flavor was on point, Definitely recommend!
