The quality of the food was so fresh and juicy. The staff is so friendly from the security all the way to the staff(Joe) and the cook was great. Thank you Joe for making my families experience great. Strips N’ Dips is located in downtown Inglewood on Market Street. Let’s jump right into this review.
What did we have –
3 of the 2-piece strips with fries, 2 dips, and lemonade – $12.00 per meal
Cherry Lemonade – In my teen voice – BUSSIN
Key Lime Lemonade – Also BUSSIN
Fries are fresh potatoes, cut and fried lightly, not as crispy or well done as I like. That is my preference.
Strips, heavily battered and fried, more batter than chicken. The strips were definitely crispy and I do like a crispy piece of chicken. Snap, crackle, and pop!
Pros
1. Cost is reasonable for a meal with two strips, fries, 2 large sauces, and a medium size drink.
2. They offer a variety of dips to choose from. I recommend the honey mustard.
3. Indoor seating available and three TVs to catch sporting events or other televised options.
4. Clean establishment.
5. The gentleman that assisted me was very helpful, professional, and enthusiastic to serve. Kudos to him for providing excellent customer service. I didn’t get his name – wish I had so I could shout him out.
6. Wait time is about 15 minutes if they are not busy.
Cons
1. The ring the bell for service – bell don’t work. I waited about 7 minutes before someone came to take my order. Employees passed me but they all said, someone will be right with you.
As a customer, being told that more than once can be frustrating.
2. Parking will be a challenge. There is metered parking available and you have to be lucky to find a spot. It’s downtown Inglewood, it is expected.
Strips N’ Dips is in a prime location and offers, what I consider, home made Fries and Chicken. I would return and just inquire if I could have my fries fried longer and my strips lightly batter.

Review Update 12/11/25: Oh man.. what y’all do? went and changed something. That was the saltiest meal I ever had, woke me up in the middle of the night feeling sick. What happened!? I cannot in good faith recommend this spot to anybody, it would be assisted homicide. The food was so salty makes ocean water seem like mountain spring. Everything wasn’t as crispy as usual, just heavy and over seasoned. I don’t know what changed, but me and my sis’ ain’t coming back here for nothing but maybe the lemonade. Those are still delicious and Raven is still the sweetest host. Only thing saving this review from being a 1 star.
This is such a cute little spot. It’s really disappointing there aren’t more people lining up to try this food outside. Seriously underrated. The food here is peak and these folk know how to fry food! It is not greasy, it is not heavy and it’s perfectly crispy. My sis got the shrimp basket and I got the half and half with fries and onion rings. The shrimp is not overcooked it’s fried to perfection, crunchy on the outside soft and tender on the inside. The ranch dressing is definitely made here, they use fresh dill and you can definitely taste it. The young woman who helped us, Raven, was so fun and friendly. Don’t hesitate, please come here. You won’t regret it. Definitely a new favorite go to for fry fish and the like. ♥️

Flew in from Kansas City Missouri to spend time with our daughter. When we got to the counter we were greeted with great service! We got our food which was more than enough! But, this is what got me…my family began to pray over our food and one of the workers grabbed our hand and prayed with us!!! Never in my 49 years of living have I ever had an experience like that at a food establishment. With that type of excellent service…this place has endless longevity!!! Oh,and did I mention the food was soooo FIRE!!

Walking in and being greeted by a security guard that isn’t very friendly is not a good start to trying a new chicken spot. I want lunch I’m NOT going to the club, anyways I go order and the girl is nice enough but definitely new or just poorly trained with their ordering system. I ordered a 3 finger combo w/ fries… surprise they only gave me onion rings. And unfortunately I don’t like onions and the onion rings are 100% from a bag and not hand breaded. Okay whatever I’m here for the chicken not the sides, chicken was WILDLY bland but somehow seasoned with anything and everything they had in the kitchen???!???!? I’d definitely go somewhere else.

Customer service is always so great!! The food is very flavorful and always very fresh. Also the dining and kitchen area is super clean!!! If you’re in town and not trying this place, you’re really doing yourself a disservice! 10/10!!!!!! On top of the value And bang for buck is great!

The chicken is juicy, well seasoned and travels well. The fries dont travel well and theyre also pretty dry (didnt have them fresh unfortunately). The sauce containers arent filled even halfway and extra sauce is NOT free. The cherry lemonade had a strange after taste The person at the register had a condescending attitude, i looked desheveled when i walked in so that might be why, i guess. Although the chicken and sauces were really good i dont think i will be returning.
