We recently visited Stripes Burrito Co. in Albuquerque for the first time, and the experience was nothing short of impressive. We ordered the chicken strip basket with three perfectly cooked tenders, a side of fries, creamy coleslaw, and a drink. Today, I came through the drive through (order 268) ordering a chicken sandwich combo (large), 3 barbacoa street tacos, and one kids strips.
Instead of the chicken sandwich combo, I got a doubly combo, which is what the ticket said, but I never ordered. Didn’t find the error until I was 25 miles away and finally at home, so I could eat. When I called, the employee wasn’t at all interested in solving the issue. They said they’d give me store credit. Not good enough! I never wanted a burger. Didn’t order a burger. And threw the burger away. I want a refund! Nothing else will suffice to solve the issue. Next time pay attention to what people are actually ordering, and if you aren’t sure of what you heard, ask them to repeat it back to you. And, the person taking the order never repeated the order back to me, or we could have nipped this in the bud right then and there, so that’s another training issue that needs to be addressed through proper coaching.

The location I went to is drive-thru only so I couldn’t rate some things. But the important things like value and quality I give it the highest ratings. The chicken sandwich was exceptional! And the fries were hot, crispy and a huge portion. I was a little disappointed that my iced tea was sweetened despite my order to the contrary. But I definitely will be back for this sandwich.

Today we came to get dinner. The service was slow. When we finally go the food the fries were not cooked they were dripping in grease all limp. I don’t know how they could put them in the bag for someone to eat this way. I will not return this location again.

I don’t have a vehicle, and this location only has a pick up window. I ordered online and get in line behind a car. Before even asking me what I needed, I was told immediately that I needed to not bug any customers(which I didnt) just because I didn’t have a car and was carrying a backpack. The lady was extremely rude. She had a very thick Mexican accent. Couldn’t even apologize to me for her MISTAKE. I felt very discriminated against by my look and lack of no car. This location is closest to me but won’t be returning here because of this incident!

This was the worst experience I’ve had since I’ve been in Albuquerque buying food wise and not even tops Bob’s burger years ago. That was nothing but grease but you think for like $10 plus tax you would get a big box of chicken fingers with some fries no you get three little bit of chicken fingers, some soggy fries, and some kind of strange tasting dip, and if you mess up and get the green chili,cheese fries Then your day is really gonna be messed up because all they were were soaked in oil drowned, and it tasted like cheddar cheese, which made them twice. A very, very bad experience. I seriously may need to see it therapist after that. Just kidding on the therapist part

Food took 15 minutes to be made from time of order. When home could tell food was tossed together and was not right.very little bacon to none cheese all in on spot eggs not warm potatoes extremely over cooked. Staff seemed nice just food made for a bad time.

Manager is I’ve of the rudest individuals I ever encountered. The girl at the window was just as friendly as the manager. Only question asked was, do you have chili peppers. Will not ever be going back. This company deserves what their employees are working hard for. Zero business.
