We were able to get a reservation on that same day at 7:30pm as that was what was available. Love the ambience and decor especially with the grand piano being played from the bar area. Our waitress, Racheal (I think), was the best from giving recommendations to being attentive. Kudos to her!!
Food was of course amazing. The lobster bisque was fabulous so was the french onion soup. Both the Aged New York Strip and Pork chop turned out perfectly done.
Definitely recommend coming here!!
We went on a Saturday night for (what we thought) would be a drink to scope out the place. The view is amazing and a piano player filled the air. One look at the menu and knew we were staying. The hostess, Megan, found us a table and explained the parking voucher system. You heard that right… Sunseekers now covers parking when eating/drinking at the property (win/win!)
The good:
First of all, the pricing is absolutely appropriate for a good steak/seafood place. Compared to other high-end steak places in Fort Myers/Punta Gorda, their prices are completely on par.
Secondly, the service is fabulous. Our server (Charlotte), is a Wisconsin girl that understands working hard and ensuring a positive experience.
The steaks (bone in ribeye and filet) were the BEST we’ve had in SWFL from Venice to Naples. They were done to perfection and seasoned perfectly.
The sides are family style, so larger than a traditional single serving and portioned to share. The Brussel sprouts were crisp and flavorful, an absolute winner. The au gratin potatoes were good as well, very creamy.
The wine list is heavenly! They had multiple wines by the glass, held in a pressurized system for freshness. The wine by the bottle list was perfectly curated. Bottle wines ranged from $70 through $800, something for every pallet.
after dinner, we did not partake in the desert menu. An after dinner drink produced a perfectly made Manhattan.
In addition to all of the accolades above, it must be noted that Maury’s has stunning views of Charlotte Harbor.
Though this was our first trip, we will definitely be back for many more. The food is worth every nickel, the service is beyond reproach (Charlotte was amazing!), and the parking is plentiful… And free.
This place was worth every penny.
*We were told by Megan the name of Maury’s will be changing in a few months due to the sale of Sunseeker. However the chef, menu, and staff will all remain when the name changes to “Stretto“.
I can’t say enough good things about Maury’s! This was our fourth visit within a month and a half, and if I could leave ten stars, I absolutely would! Maury’s is truly exceptional and stands out as the best upscale restaurant we’ve ever experienced. As avid foodies who travel frequently, this speaks volumes!
During our visits, we indulged in a variety of dishes, but the ribeye and mashed potatoes were undeniably the best we’ve ever had anywhere! Each bite was a delight. We chose to sit at the bar three out of those four times, and the service from the bartenders was nothing short of incredible. They made us feel so welcome and at home, which made our experience even more special.
The ambiance at Maury’s is also fantastic, enhanced by the talented piano player and singer who added a magical touch to the evening. We genuinely felt sad to leave after each visit. We’d happily return to southwest Florida just to dine at Maury’s again! If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, don’t miss out on this gem!
What an amazing spot in Charlotte Harbor! The food was absolutely perfect—every dish we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was warm with great music that added to the experience. But the real star of the night? Their French onion soup—hands down the best I’ve ever had. A must-visit if you’re in the area!
Furthermore, the food and cocktails were delicious, and I absolutely enjoyed the ambiance and live music. I highly recommend dining here and to request either gentlemen to make your dinner truly special.
