I cannot recommend them enough for dining in and/or catering. Family run business that really cares about great food and great customer service. If you’re dining with them, you are in for a true treat.
For my food choice, I chose the brisket taco and a fish taco. My husband ordered one of their burritos. Let me start with the fish taco: omg, one of the best fish tacos l’ve had outside of Cabo! The fish was battered and tasted super fresh. However the slaw and sauce just made all the flavors come together on the blue corn tortilla. The star of the meal was the brisket taco though. The meat is so tender it just falls apart and the smoke flavor and seasoning is on point. The salsa on the taco was definitely on the spicy side, which I love, but you may want to get it on the side if your taste buds say a big no to spicy. My husband’s burrito was ginormous with plenty for leftovers.
I love the ambiance in the place and they even have an outdoor patio with a huge smoker they use for that amazing brisket.
I did not order beer but they have a pretty good selection that would go great with tacos.
I really love that they bring culture and delicious street food together for a unique experience. I can’t wait to come back and try the other menu items!
First up, the tacos–WOW. My husband swears by the fish tacos every time while I’m all about the steak and chicharrón tacos. Each bite is packed with bold, fresh flavors that keep us coming back for more.
Then there’s the smashburger and fries–an absolute must-try! The juicy, flavorful patty paired with perfectly crispy, golden fries makes for one of my all-time favorite go-to dishes.
And we have to talk about the Avocado Slayer–refreshing, bright, and zesty, it’s like a bite of sunshine. The combination of creamy avocado, citrusy lemon slices, and a rich bean spread creates a balance of flavors I never expected to work so well together, but somehow, it just does!
A huge shoutout to the incredible Streetzlan team! Their service is amazing, and you can truly see the passion they put into every dish. 10/10–highly recommend!
I came 30 before closing so maybe my food was rushed. I was not a fan of their homemade tortillas, a bit thick and mine were cold.
Best taco for me was probably the pork belly it was very crispy.
Service was friendly and good overall.
This is absurd in a city the size of Elk Grove.
I first found StreetZlan in Galt where they had a small kitchen. The food is always exceptional. There have been times I’ve missed out on their daily or weekly specials, but this place is just that popular. I’ve never had anything I didn’t want to go back for.
Tonight, no exceptions. The Ahi Poki Nachos were very filling with plenty of protein. The quesa birria tacos, pretty good, but the hot salsa, Bottle That Stuff Up!!!!
I need to plan a special trip on a week for the BBQ platter.
