I was expecting so much more.
When I arrived, I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and use the facilities. Well, the door would not lock! The young lady behind the bar told me to pull up on handle at a diagnosed when closing and turn the lock. Well, let’s just say I couldn’t figure it out and struggled for a little while to see if I could figure it out… I just ended up praying to God no one would walk in. Luckily no one did.
Then I went to order my food (to go) at the bar area. Everything was good there. No complaints. He was very friendly and helpful with the amount of soy sauce I requested, after the fact.
Now, to the reason for WHY I came… The Food! I expected soooo much more.
In comparison to the photos of the roll (customer taken and menu look) and what actually I received —was not even close. Plus, I paid 15$ for this roll and feel like I was ripped off — 3 of the pieces did not even have any of the toppings.
I probably will not return for the sushi or to order to go.

This restaurant is phenomenal. Definitely one of our favorites now. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. It’s perfect for a gathering of friends or family, or a sweet date night ;). The staff are friendly and attentive. Our waiter was a nice man with blonde hair and tattoos ( sorry we forgot your name lol ). He was patient and accommodating with our wild kids. I also love the variety of food. We ordered the spicy udon combination, lo mein, spicy salmon roll, wonton soup, then two kids meals which were grilled cheese and chicken tenders. Everything was delicious! The prices were great as well. Thank you, we WILL be back.

Really shocked at how much this place has declined. I’m saddened because I have always enjoyed it. The only thing I can say positive about my experience today, the water was cold. I did tipped 15% on a $50 bill to the waiter, just out of courtesy or sympathy. He seriously needs training. My biggest disappointment was a child’s grill cheese that sat under a heat lamp for 40 minutes. Then brought to a child only after asking two people about it. Then It was not worth eating, not even one bite was taking. I should have requested to have it removed from the bill but I just wanted to get out of there. I hope they improve so no other persons have a horrible experience.

The shrimp poboy was rock hard. Tasted incredibly burnt & inedible. Who made this, boxed it up & sent it out thinking “what a great sandwich, the person who ordered it is going to love it!” You cannot be serious. Burnt and disgusting.
Mac & cheese was okay. I wouldn’t order it again though.

The quality of the dishes is what keeps me coming back to this establishment. The waitstaff is cordial and efficient.
Plus, I like how new seasonal items are offered to keep the menu fresh.
My recommendation is any of the soups. I’ve tried them all, and they do not miss. Moreover, I can’t say enough about the cocktails.

For my birthday I stayed close to home because of the weather. Went to the Streetside Market. This place is awesome! It’s located in the downtown district of Hammond. This restaurant was so charming and service was wonderful. Our server was so quick with things and the food came out really fast. It was simply delicious! We had a party of 2 and ordered sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein. Very large portions. The chicken chunks in the sweet and sour were huge! Everything was cooked to perfection. I loved the decorations inside and the wide open seating. If you find yourself in downtown Hammond you have to try this place!

Atmosphere was everything especially the live music. Service was immaculate. Food was under seasoned. But we still enjoyed it. The menu has so much to choose from. We went with Japanese for him and Greek for myself. The Frose’ was pretty good. We will definitely return.

From the wonderful music choice to the especially kind wait staff and sushi staff. The atmosphere is everything anyone can ask for without having to leave town. I was given the great opportunity to try out their beautiful desert consisting of three different varieties derived from Brazil. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results nor could my taste buds. This is without a doubt hands down one of the best places I’ve had the pleasure to spend my hard earned money at and I will most definitely be making return trips. Highly recommended. It all speaks for itself.

amazing!!! the service stellar, and all the food is amazing. this place is a must-visit, especially if you and your friends can’t agree on where you want to go. the atmosphere is awesome and perfect for any outing, and they even have live bands sometimes. for around here, the price is also great. i recommend it to all my friends!!
