Sunday I woke up craving some authentic Mexican food, particularly a gordita, and found this hidden gem! I’ve lived in Bastrop for 2 years now and am disappointed that I’m barely discovering this place. The Gordita did not disappoint!! The meat was tender, juicy, and delicious! My wife enjoyed her street tacos, the Al pastor was her favorite! But it was the quesabirria that stole the show! The dipping juice was so flavorful and they gave us plenty of it! They were sold out of the tripas when we went so def will be going back to try that! Friendly service and delicious food! Can’t beat it!!

The Hawaiian Burger is big and delicious. Two patties and the pineapple separates it from any burger i ever had. Been here several times. Fajita tacos are really good as are the Pambazos. Come here every time i’m in Bastrop.

The young lady that took my order was very friendly and she educated me patiently on the different plates. We got panbazos and they were absolutely delicious! I will definitely recommend and will be back to try other foods.

Picked up an order from here, lady working the window was extremely rude. She said that I clicked that I arrived 6 minutes before I did, when DoorDash doesn’t even allow us to do that when we are that far from the pickup location. I arrived and parked right in front of the truck at the gas pump. That’s when I clicked that I arrived. I tried to explain that, but she just insinuated that I was lying about it. When we can’t even do what she accused me of. Yes, I did get upset about it, but I didn’t yell or say anything rude. My face may have shown it, but I was just trying to explain that I parked right there in front of the truck then pressed arrived. Also saying I was late getting to the food truck, when other dashers don’t want to pick up the order it just keep getting pushed out until someone picks it up. So I didn’t hit arrive, before I got to the store; neither was I late. I was just the dasher who accepted an order that was already passed around. So I accepted an already late order as I only 1 minute away when I received the order. Yes, I won’t be back but I hope this can be a learning lesson. On how the app work for merchants and dashers.

One of my coworkers suggested this tacos place. The menu had a great selection of items beyond just tacos. Both of us ordered the tacos (obviously) and we’re very pleased.
The meat quality was very good and it was perfectly cooked. The flavors were on point and the spices were very balanced unlike other places that kill the meat with a ton of salt and other cheap seasonings.
We are very happy that we found this tacos place and we are definitely going back.
