I was just introduced to this street tacos location and OMG! Not only are the tacos super cheap ($1.85 each), but they are seasoned so well and very authentic. The staff was so friendly and helped me by letting me try one of their drinks before I bought it. I tried the traditional horchata and honestly can’t wait to go back and get some more again! We ordered tacos de tripa and asked that it be over cooked because we like it crispy, the girls cooking looked at us crazy and mad and they ended up giving it to us undercooked so we had to cook it again at home because the order was to go. We also ordered tacos de pastor and they gave us chicken and put literally one piece of pastor on top with pineapples over it to kind of cover it. we used to love this place and go a lot but lately the service and the food has just gone down a lot. here is a picture of the chicken taco we didn’t want and a picture of the tripa we had to cook at home. if you’re trying to go out and eat good tacos don’t go here, it will just ruin your appetite. we also tried calling after to speak to a manager but after 5 phone calls they did not answer not one time. And the price we paid for them which has gone up a lot was not worth it, and it isn’t worth it anymore.

I used to love this location. The chicken tacos were my favorite. But this last Tuesday, (taco Tuesday) the chicken was SO over cooked and dry, that it wasn’t edible. I don’t know if they just cooked it all the day before because they know it’s going to be busy the next day? Maybe that’s why it was dry? Nonetheless, the quality has never been that bad. I then take two bites of my moka leche cake and I see it…MOLD growing on the cake. One more bite and I would have eaten mold. So gross!

Just discovered this place, and I absolutely love it!!! The food and atmosphere have an authentically Mexican flavor. There are vegetarian options too which is great. The salsa bar in the middle though is my favorite part about the restaurant. You can get fresh salsas, chopped cilantro, radishes, etc, and this really uplevels the eating experience.

I’m a lover of street tacos and have even been to many of the Don Joaquin locations, this one being the closest to the office so it’s perfect for team lunches. I love this location because the dining room is HUGE. I can’t imagine it being busy enough to fill the entire space but somehow they do! While you can’t go wrong with any of their meats, it’s always an easy win to order their daily special for a discounted price. Plus, usually, they have the daily special prepared and ready to go so they call your number within minutes. The Lindon was no different and the staff was clearly prepared for the oncoming lunch rush.
