Tonight, with two dear friends was so amazing and so much fun. We split five entries, a bottle of wine, and a dessert at Street Disco. I tried two food items for the very first time, and I really enjoyed everything, but I absolutely loved two of the entrees. The wine that the server paired with our dinner was superb, and the dessert divine. Such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the music playing was a perfect combination.

We couldn’t have been happier, eating at the counter.

Had an excellent beet salad, a kale Caesar, boar ribs an Ibierco pork. Each dish was better than the next.

Been here once before, and it was just ust as good then, but sitting at the counter was even more enjoyable.

Amazing and creative menu. Are waitress Angela was fantastic, super helpful. The background music was a little boomy making conversation a bit difficult but better than a lot of places. The creative menu changes monthly.

Great wine list and a really solid food menu. The wild boar ribs are a must-order — so flavorful and tender. They paired perfectly with the bleu butter radishes.

Amazing work at the dock party! The team is all about hospitality and good food. At first, I was cautiously optimistic about trying their food. It was so good I ended up ordering all but 1 item. Their Basque cheesecake and pairing with honey, fresh fruit, and olive oil is a showstopper and must try. The beef belly read humbly on paper, but was a knockout for flavor

Wowowowow I love it here. Best carrots of my life, I will be dreaming of that whipped ricotta/maple combo. Got a variety of small plates and they were all hits. Vibe was relaxed and the lighting was perfect. Great for a date night. Come here, you won’t regret it!

5 stars, all the way. Food, service, and atmosphere were all stellar. It’s not a huge spot, but the flavors they’re producing are outta this world. Kinda out of the way for central Portlanders, but I think this keeps the riff raff out. Seemed like mostly locals enjoying their cozy wine bar/ bistro vibes. Love the open kitchen, watching chefs work. Great soundtrack too. Would definitely come again.

Came here for a drink, the wine was vibrant and crisp. Perfect for summer. There is also outdoor seating. We ended up getting some bread with olive oil and oysters on the half shell. Everything was great. Staff were all kind. We didnt sit in the street disco side, there is an attached wine bar next to it. Both sides were very cute/aesthetically pleasing. I will be back to try more of their food. The entrees sounded amazing but we already had dinner plans.

First time dining in after years of wanting to go, was not disappointed. Food and cocktails were stellar, service was great, server with the short black hair was so helpful and accommodating. I will be back for more menu exploration and many more mescal cocktails.
My only note would be that the bread was cold and would have been better served warm, but even that didn’t stop me from eating all of it soaking up that wild boar sauce.
Great job all around gang!

Dang, I was so disappointed in Street Disco. I’ve been wanting to go for years, and after finally checking it out with a group of friends last night I was so underwhelmed.

Our table ordered a mix of entres, apps, NA cocktails, wines, and desserts (steak, sole, butternut squash pasta, burger, frites, + chicken nuggets). Every item was just completely lacking the finesse and creativity that I was expecting from this place. Nothing felt special or noteworthy. What was particularly noticeable was that every vegetable was void of depth: slightly undercooked, not boiled/cooked with aromatics or salt, and just…. unexciting. On the beet appetizer I remember thinking, “welp, that’s a beet.” Same with the squash in the pasta dish. It felt like it was just boiled in unseasoned water.

On a slightly less serious note, something that made my heart hurt was the chicken nuggies. I was expecting a creative take on the classic chicken nugget, but what it was was simply just small pieces of fried chicken. I was hoping for a unique breading (rather than fry batter) and a chicken puree. Dang.

I know wine is subjective and you can’t really call a wine “bad”, but it was sad to pay $16 for a very ungenerous pour of what tasted like something that came out of a week-old Bota box ☹️

I could have called the waitress over to mention a disappointing dish or wine, but it was just everything. And unfortunately, the thing that made me the saddest from the whole experience was the wait service ☹️ I found our waitress to be so unnecessarily rude. When our group arrived for our reservation my friend politely asked if we could sit in the adjacent booth, the waitress just told her “no.” Later when I asked for her advice on which of their wines might be characterized as spicy or peppery, she gave me a blank stare and said she didn’t know what I meant. She was cold during the whole meal, not engaging with our questions, rarely checking up on us, and not giving a warm or friendly vibe in the least. This was the most disappointing part of the visit for sure. A little warmth or engagement from her would have made the experience so much better.

I am so bummed. I’ve always heard good things about this place and to have such a lackluster experience with the dining and the service was truly a let down. Maybe it was unwise to visit on a Monday night.

The cheesecake was bangin, though.
