It was closed! They changed it to a much better restaurant! A total different experience! I couldn’t believe how amazing the new vibe and food was. Salad bar and houfbrau style food???!!!!

This is review is regarding the new restaurant in the building Dosan.The service was excellent from the time we walked in. The hostess was very friendly and helpful and checked on us multiple times during our meal service. One of the cooks who looked like he just got off duty Also asked how everything was. The lady at the carving station was also very helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful. The table settings were lovely and it wasn’t very crowded. My wife got the salad bar and she said it was good. They also kept our drinks full Unfortunately I really wanted to like this place. We went in the day after the grand opening and I was very excited there was a new buffet in town to try. We drove all the way from Fresno to Clovis just to try this place. All of the hot food was terrible. I hate to say it but it’s just the truth. The pizza was hard and dry. My wife said some of the chicken on pizza was unedible. The clam chowder didn’t even taste like clam chowder had huge chunks of clam, but they’re all cooked to the bottom of the pan and I had to scrape the bottom just to get any. The carving station meats were okay but nothing special. The only thing I got off the salad bar was edaname and it wasn’t very good at all. I really wish this place the best of luck. I know they just opened. In fact, the receipt still said straw hat pizza on it but just beware if you go. The food is not very good at all. I’m sorry to say.

Tried this place for the first time on the weekends and honestly we were pretty impressed with the Food Quality. At first glance it’s your typical “Bar & Grill” type joint but when you walk inside it’s actually pretty spacious with tons of cool arcade games for the kids to keep em occupied in the mean time. The Bar has a huge selection of drinks with a couple of house made drinks that are pretty damn good especially the “Fresno Sunrise”
Like I had mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Wings, Jalapeño Poppers, & House Salad to start and everything came out not only quick but, Hot & Fresh with tons of flavor. We later ordered a Pastrami Sandwich & Personal “The Works” Pizza and again they were so damn good. Plus the portions are huge! This Food was the Major Highlight of the visit, hands down!
The service on the other hand, was very Hit N Miss. When we were first sat down, the chick instantly took our drink order (which is great) unfortunately they never came. Lol until our actual server, who I assume is the restaurant manager showed up to take our orders. The dude was extremely nice by the way and super helpful as well. Anyway since he was the only one taking orders he was mostly occupied elsewhere because he had other tables to attend so I mostly had to get up and go to the front desk and ask for napkins, plates, refills, etc. It was a hassle each time to be honest but I kind of didn’t mind because they got what I needed instantly.
All in all, We will Definitely be returning. especially for their Wings & Sandwhiches. But if your expecting some top notch customer service you may be a bit disappointed.
But If you happen to be passing by this place and have no idea what to eat? I’d reccomend dropping in and trying out the hot food. You won’t regret it!

As a big bodied person, I would 10000% recommend straw hat pizza bar &grill! The service was ridiculously amazing! It felt as if the servers were genuinely happy to see my partner and I ordering everything and trying everything! The food was amazing! The portions blew my mind! This place exceeded my expectations in every way! Don’t sleep on this place! Come and try everything! Tiki masala pizza is a must have! Thank you jez and raj! Also, seats were very plus size friendly!

This was our first time coming here. We had heard good things. We came to watch the Thursday night Steelers game. When we first got there the place was EMPTY. I was worried. We were greated right away by a gentleman behind the bar, we ask if he was going to have the game & he said he would put it on. They had over 20 TV’s no matter wear you sit there’s a TV. We ordered wing, a beer & a soda. Beer was ice cold & the wings were delicious! They were huge. Later we ordered mozzarella sticks & they were good also. We also ordered a large pizza & let me tell you this was the BEST pizza I ever ate. The toppings were fresh, the crust was light & crispy, oh and did I mention it was piled high with toppings!! I have zero complaints about the food. About 5:00 the place got pretty packed & throughout the night kept pretty busy.
Let’s talk staff-The staff there was AMAZING!The gentleman man that greated us was super nice but his shifted ended so he introduced us to our new waitress. From the moment we were greated until the time we left they took great care of us. Our waitress was named Jessica & she NEVER let my glass empty, she checked on us a million times making sure we had everything we needed. We also had an gentleman and I hate myself for not getting his name but he was also AMAZING!! They were all so very nice & it was the best customer service I have had in a very long time.
Facility- They had a million TV’s (over 20) for sure, everywhere you look there is a TV. There is a few claw machines, a pool table, darts, and video games. The place is spotless!! And believe me I look!! The bathrooms were super clean & stocked to the brim.
Now I know this is a super long review but this place definitely deserved a great review. I will definitely be back & I have already started telling friends & co-workers about this place.

Went here for my daughter‘s birthday. The kids absolutely loved it. They enjoyed the spaghetti and the pizza. My mother and I we got the garlic fries too die for they are yummy. We will be definitely coming back.

Visited for the first time, food was okay. Service was okay as well. Nothing impressive yet, they’ve only been open for a little while. They do have a nice bar inside and Patio seating. I think this place has potential to be great! I think they are are still working out the kinks of being a new restaurant. So if you visit, don’t be upset if things don’t go smoothly. We will visit again and hopefully upgrade my rating. Also, would you please add milk to he kids menu? Thank you

I ordered delivery from instacart. The guy drove around until my pizza was cold and finallyi called him, or was it cold before he got it. Idk the pizza was ordinary. it seemed like adult sized expensive pizza Lunchables if you know then you’ll understand that is what the crust was like.
