After a bad stay at Hard Rock hotel, horrible service at their restaurant, and missing a dinner reservation per Hard Rock Hotels lack of towels and soap…this place came through late night. 10pm had a line and a bit of a wait for food. Food was great and worth the wait. Stayed safe with a burger and onion rings. Drink special…well…that could use some improvement. But the burgers…100% satisfied! Great little spot to chill and eat and watch some sports.

Decent environment but service and food lacks quality. The toppings on the pizza have pale colors and taste. The meat was actually fairly gross to eat, ended up pulling almost off the toppings off.

Love the food and the bartenders are always awesome and funny. Great sports bar for us to spend a night out. We get appetizers, drinks and then chow down on one of their awesome pizzas. They have a lot of tvs everywhere and they all have sports on. Great old school music and atmosphere all together. We go there most of the time when we are in Tahoe.

Was staying in South Lake Tahoe saw they had opened a Straw Hat. Were I live the franchise had disappeared. Went in got a pizza. Was as good as I remembered. It’s inside Harvey’s Casino. If your a sports nut, you’ll definitely be happy. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

My wife and I enjoyed or visit in Lake Tahoe Feb 24-28. On the 24th we arrived and were hungry and need refreshments . I ordered the Pizza and my wife ordered the ham and cheese both were very good especially the pizza I ordered a deluxe. I then proceeded to the bar and met I very nice gentleman named Tony. Wow he was really personable and friendly. He made the best margarita on the rocks my wife exclaimed and beat out another restaurants margarita we had the other day. We had breakfast at the Straw Hat 2 more times during our visit. I recommend the omelets with egg white always made to order hot and fresh. Tony would be there in the morning to greet us. He made that part of our trip memorable and will return once I get back to Lake Tahoe!. Congrats to Tony!

Service was nearly non-existent. One of our friends ordered bone-in chicken wings, was given boneless wings, let server know, he went to cashier whom came to our table to argue about it. Long story short, we cancelled the order after waiting 40 minutes, never received the bone-in wings, got money back and left. We weren’t even upset. All we wanted was for the order to be corrected. So ridiculous! On another note: the chicken bacon sandwich was bland. Costco’s chicken bake is better.

This is by far the worst pizza I had in a long long time. The jalapeno peppers felt as if someone brought in Costco frozen ones have warmed them up. The pizza by itself didn’t taste fresh and up to the mark for the money paid. Not sure if the ingredients were frozen and old or the pizza itself was frozen and warmed up. It is not a place I am going to again to have a pizza
