Great pizza , liked the thin bread and delicious traditional flavor. There’s salad table and a few videogames for the kids. The place have enough spaces to seat with TVs to watch sport games. Parking lots available at the front and clean restrooms . Enjoy your visit!

It’s an ok place to eat pizza. The people here are nice and funny. The food is great. I wish the place was more uplifting, but its running low on employees, so they might not last for long, which really is sad.

My fave pizza from small-kid time has been Straw Hat Pizza. I was so sad when they started getting scarce in SoCal. A couple years ago I accidentally stumbled upon the Straw Hat in Long Beach and was beside myself with joy. The crust is not too thick, not too thin (I hate a droopy pizza slice). The sauce is just zesty enough. It’s not too greasy and it’s still great the next day (hot or cold). It’s the same SH pizza it’s always been and I love that I can count on that.

This is me and my friends place to get our pizza I prefer their pizza over dominoes, pizza hut, little ceaser ect the workers are so nice and listen carefully to your order you have plenty of options for your toppings I have tried their wings and they aren’t as good as the pizza

This straw had his been at this location forever, but I’ve never eaten at it until now. Now I know why I’ve never been. If you are looking for mediocre food at best, then by all means help yourself. I will say from the order that a friend and I had, this was pretty bad food. The chicken wings were some of the nastiest i’ve ever had, and the sandwiches were not much better with the globs of mustard and mayonnaise.For the customer service, imagine a couple of teenagers with no social skills and you will have the idea.

Love Straw Hat so much! I have been going there for years & have never been disappointed. From the food to the friendly staff to the mini-arcade that keeps the kids occupied, it’s a great place to spend an evening. We almost always run into neighbors & end up chatting, it’s a lot of fun. Their pizza is so tasty, crust is always crispy & the toppings nicely toasted, & they offer gluten-free and non-dairy options that actually taste good. Highly recommend a visit if you’re in the mood for good food & company!

Recently made a trip to this straw hat location and as a first time customer who now lives locally, I will never be returning! My spouse called in the order before hand which I planned on picking up on the way home. Arrived and ended up waiting 30 mins in line. I even went up to an employee and asked if I had to wait seeing that the order had already been called in. She replied yes. Once I finally made it to the counter I suggested to the cashier that they should really have a separate line for those that had called in. She replied “oh you should have come straight to the front.” REALLY!!! No apologizes or anything! This will be my first and last time visiting this restaurant! Additionally, before I wrote this review, I noticed that the business owner responded to a previous yelper who also had a negative experience. This business owner really needs to learn professionalism and how to provide customer service. I appreciate that you love your loyal local customers but a big part of growing your business (or staying in business for that matter) is to acknowledge mistakes and not provide excuses. Business 101!
