The onion rings were huge. Definitely recommended. Make sure you read the specials when you arrive, just in case there is something special you like. We ordered strawberry cheesecake, carrot cake and double chocolate cake to go. The cheesecake was perfect and my teenager ate the whole thing herself. Good old comfort food. I drove by it a few days later in the morning and it was packed for breakfast.

The food was superb. If you like Ruben Sandwiches this is a must stop at Diner. Their menu was full of great foods and appetizers. The Jalapeño bites were the only thing that I wasn’t overly impressed with. I would for surely eat here again if ever in the neighborhood. I again thought the many foods we tried were outstanding though I think they need to do better at keeping cockroaches out of the establishment. 1 running around the food was too many and took the eating experience down. It’s the main reason I didn’t give 5 stars and was surprised the manager when shown didn’t even offer a discount on the food. But again I would give them another chance as the food was amazing and so was the wait staff.

Food was good but this place was unbelievably unorganized for a busy Saturday afternoon. Had to ask where our food was. Had to ask for the check. Waited 45 minutes for our food. Waitress never came back until it was time for the check. Saw the head waitress get into it with two separate servers. The first time she berated a waitress for asking for a smoke break and the second time it was a disagreement about who has a table. Both times were awkward. The host spilled a drink on a table because he was running around with no regard. The bathrooms smell like septic. The food was good. The prices are great.

This was honestly one of the worst experiences and bites of food I’ve had at a restaurant. Yes, I said bites because that’s about all I could stomach. The gyro meat was mushy and nauseating. The waitress was super sweet. I asked her to take it away. She mentioned the manager would be over. I asked her not to send him because after the aggressive manner in which we were sat at our table by the owner, I had a bad feeling a criticism wouldn’t be well received. Boy, was I right! Although she tried to let him know I didn’t want to be approached (I could see the conversation being had right before he came at us), he charged over to us. After wanting to know what was wrong with the food, he INSISTED he uses the best and most highly rated gyro meat, then attempted to blame me that I didn’t order it right. Sir, it’s YOUR restaurant. I ordered what YOU put on the menu. I didn’t change anything about it. He refused to just leave it alone and continued to badger me at the table. Needless to say, that was our first and last trip there. Save your money. Anything is better than this place and the owner is aggressive and confrontational.

Customet service great on some of waitress the food is delicious it makes me go to sleep when i get back home. The only thing i dont like about it is restroom when i went in woman bathroom is was freezing inside like if you was outside no heat at all. How can tha be. No heat in bathroom isnt these illegal. This diner is fantastic. I had the scrapple and scrambled eggs with potatoes, orange juice and toast. I really enjoyed the breakfast. My friends liked the diner too. It’s very nice inside and is very clean. We returned today and I had the pancake breakfast. It was delicious. This is the real deal as far as south Jersey diners are concerned. By the way their menu is quite large. It’s a great place to have a nice meal. I very highly recommend this diner experience.

I’ve been to the Stratford Diner about three or four times, and overall, it’s a decent spot that delivers what you’d expect from a classic diner. The food is good — nothing fancy, but warm, filling, and satisfying for a casual meal. However, one of my visits was a bit disappointing. I came in one evening, was seated, and after we mentioned we were there for dinner, the server told us they were about to close. It felt a little rushed and unwelcoming, especially since we were already seated. Thankfully, my other visits have gone much smoother, with decent service and properly cooked meals.

Food was delicious and very plentiful. I believe the owner was the gentleman who checked us out at the register, very nice man. Amanda, our waitress needs to be more attentive to her customers. I had to get up and go ask her for more syrup, and she only came over when bringing our check. I will definitely go back

This place is a joke!! My turkey bacon was burnt, my rye toast did not come out with my meal. The server thought is was okay to chat with other customers instead of getting the rest of my meal. When the eye roast was finally brought out they out half the tub of butter or spread on it. I only ate the eggs… the onions and peppers were clearly my cooked with the home fries. When I asked the server for the check I told her the food was awful. She them said ” see if they’ll take off the turkey bacon”. I’m good I paid the bill and left no tip. What a waste of my time and my money.
