Social Profile:

Marshall’s Diner was founded 2003 in Marshall VA. It’s the flagship location and still serving its loyal customers today. With 20 years of experience in the kitchen, the owner has broken a few eggs and seen a million smiles. After years of looking for a new location, we chose Strasburg VA. Strasburg is a perfect place, it’s surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and friendly hungry people. Strasburg Diner is a three-meal-a-day-diner with a-true-diner menu. There is something for everyone on the menu and you will not be disappointed. Like a true Diners, plates are loaded down with food at a reasonable price. Inside the restaurant, we have plenty of seating for customers and outside has lots of parking. We even have a Tesla Supercharging

Wow, am I glad we tried this place! Seriously, some of the best French toast I’ve had. It tastes just like mom used to make it… But a little bit better (sorry mom). Good ham, good eggs, good omelettes, and good service too. Definitely going to try to make it back out here when we are driving through.

The first time I was eating there, we were on our way to Tennessee. It was storming, so we decided to stop to get lunch. The I side was very nice and clean, the host was very nice, we were seated right away. I think Tina was the name of our waitress. She was super nice. My BLT and my husband’s chicken and cheese sub were absolutely delicious. I loved the atmosphere and the encouraging words they used for wall decorations. I definitely recommend this diner.

I never give up on a restaurant based on one entree being so-so. I got a meat lover’s omelet with a biscuit on the side. I wish I could’ve gotten a healthier side option, like fruit or something. It wasn’t the best omelet I’ve ever had. The eggs were fried thinly, cheese on top, and finely diced meats was rolled up inside. So, every bite of omelette feel apart while I was eating. So, I did not care for this.

We went here during the route 11 crawl and it’s an extremely busy time for the entire area. So the wait staff was extremely stressed because they didn’t have enough to take care of a packed house, so I don’t blame them for the bad service at all. That aside, the food was average at best, nothing jumped out as being great. Everything was pretty bland. The place was very clean and nice inside but it was a huge let down. My wife got the tuna sandwich and added hot peppers to it. She ate the 1st half and was about to start the 2nd when she seen a hair sticking out of it. So they took that sandwich off the bill but still wanted us to pay for the extra peppers that were on the same sandwich with the hair. This was our 1st trip and certainly will be our last to this restaurant.

Great diner/comfort food! Strasburg needed a restaurant with 24-hour breakfast and a place for dinner other than Mexican, Italian or Chinese food (though they are great), sometimes the craving is for good old American diner food. Tried breakfast so far, Buttermilk Pancakes were outstanding! Two eggs and turkey sausage came with. Bill was $13 with my coffee. Not bad. The waitress was Laura, she was warm, friendly, and saw to my every need. I met the owner who shows so much interest in how he can make his customers happy. Super staff. This building was formally a Dennys. It a cozy, but modern feel, very clean and barrier-free. There’s plenty of parking. Tesla charging around back. I’ll be back to try lunch and dinner!

Great burger. The fries were a little under done, but nothing to get worked up about. The service could have been a little better. My server didn’t check on me once. I never got any refills on my drink and had to wait a while for the bill.

Really disappointed in the service. The waitress was very nice, no complaints about her, at all. I bought the club sandwich for lunch today. It arrived with fries and my drink. I ate a few of the fries and began to eat the sandwich and the bacon was not cooked much and was fatty. Really like slippery, gross fat.

I’ve eaten at a lot of places. This is the first place that ALL the food was piping hot, fresh, and delicious. I had fried catfish, fresh homemade mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and a salad! I will go back! Thank you for such great service!!! Very satisfied!!
