Strange Taco Bar is a decent taco joint. They can accomidate gluten free with a corn shell. Make sure the cashier is aware of your allergy and the severity of it. If you go on Tuesdays they do offer a $2 taco, and toppings can be added. The restaurant is pretty good for speed from ordering to table. The tacos are good. If you have that craving for a taco, then Strange Taco Bar will suit.

Fun place for a nice Mexican meal. Be prepared to describe what you want made and they will make it. I started with an O G steak bowl, but I was quickly out of my league with complimentary ingredients, so the young lady behind the counter fixed a delicious bowl for me. Nice seating outside, so you can appreciate the town. Great place to meet friends and have a beer or mixed drink and a light dinner. Parking can be challenging during busy times.

We have visited here a lot ever since I discovered it!! Although parking is a little tight, we are usually able to get in quickly. The options for tacos are huge, and you can mix and match whatever you want!! There are so many different flavors to choose from, that there is something for everyone. It does not take long for the food to come out. It is mostly self-service here, but that is ok!! The atmosphere is very hip and a little eclectic. Highly recommend this place!!!

This review is longggggg overdue. Service is always fast! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Love their vibes. Always clean with an enjoyable view of downtown. It’s been my taco Tuesday spot for the past 4 years since moving to Lawrenceville. I’ve relocated in Duluth and I still make sure to pop up on Tuesday’s. Love the different variety of tacos. Some of my favs are the Steak or Chicken queso, Cajun shrimp and the OG (chicken) with a margarita on the rocks. My son likes the San Antonio, Nashville hot and of course the steak & queso. Everything tastes so good. For me no matter how many I order I find myself ordering more I love to try them all so I definitely switch every visit. Can’t beat the $5 margaritas on Thursday’s either. The mango seems to be popular. Stop by & rate them for yourself.

Customer service good. Dine in or takeout. Parking can be limited at the actual restaurant. Located in busy downtown Lawrenceville. Delivery services will have to go inside to pickup orders so take phone with you. Food tastes pretty good.

Great spot to grab lunch! The dog friendly patio is always a huge plus for me! I appreciate all the vegetarian/ vegan options as well. Stopped for a quick bite today, service was quick, staff friendly and the tacos were fantastic. The cauliflower taco was a first for me but I will be back for more! Nice location and decor as well. This was my first time here but it most certainly won’t be my last. Thanks Strange Taco Bar!

The tacos at Strange Tacos are some of the best around. The tacos that have a sauce as part of their flavor are delicious. We love the Nashville Hot, Fried Green Tomato, San Antonio and the Southern Pork.

Went on a Friday evening with the family.
Service was fast and although there is only one register, they got us through quickly.
Very limited indoor seating but more outside.
I had the fried fish tacos which were pretty good.
Daughter had beef tacos but it turns out they should be called carne asada. She enjoyed them.
Wife had pork (al pastor) which she did not enjoy. She prefers corn to flour tortillas but that was not an option.
Other daughter had chicken curry tacos and she wasn’t a fan. Curry was very thick and lacked a flavorful punch.
I have to say, for the amount of food we ordered, it was overpriced.
