The steamers are soooo delicious They were impressively large and naturally sweet and fresh. The best I’ve had. We even packed raw steamers to bring home and the staff gave us ice to keep them cool on the way. The clams were still alive after four hours when we got home! Staff were also attentive and filled our water frequently.

Sat outside on the deck overlooking the water. Both oysters and littlenecks were super fresh and delicious. We shared a fried fish basket and salad. Absolutely spectacular. Some of the best fried fish I’ve ever had, and the salad was perfectly dressed too. A fantastic lunch!

This was my first visit to Straight Wharf Fish. It was partially great, and partially okay. Highlights were the service and atmosphere. Obviously, being right on the dock was great and we had a fresh breeze the whole evening. Service was attentive and fast. Generally, the food and drinks were okay. My cold-brew martini was lackluster. The coffee was weak, and there also wasn’t much alcohol in it. For $16, I was disappointed. The local oysters (pictured) were excellent, and were the cleanest oysters I’ve ever had. The cornbread was also well done with a sweet butter. I ordered the tuna burger as my entree. I expected a piece of seared tuna on a bun, as I have received before when ordering a tuna burger. This, however, was unseasoned ground tuna. I wouldn’t have ordered it if the menu clarified that it was ground tuna (it didn’t), and I would not order it again. The other strange disappointment was the onion rings, which were over-battered and absolutely drenched in oil. The butterscotch pudding we had for desert was excellent and I would definitely order it again. With some menu tweaks I would have enjoyed my experience much more.

Loved it! Lucked out with a table on the deck, can’t beat the views. SO nice! Good was great, we both had The Walter. Shared the butterscotch pudding (I’d pass on that). Highly recommend overall.

Delightful relaxed addition to Straight Wharf. We tried our way through several parts of the menu, with caviar-onion rings, ceviche, calamari (GF!) and tuna burger leading the favorites. The flavor and spice on the burger, and on the fine but very bland fish sandwich, need some work. The quick and friendly service and the atmosphere are wonderful.

Such a great and peaceful space! The food was really good and lobster roll was amazing (reminded me of my college years in Maine). Also, the manager and server were very friendly and accommodating to my difficult step aunt. Definitely worth a visit

Excellent restaurant & fresh food. I really enjoyed their oysters, tuna burger and onion rings. $4 oysters, $15 drinks, $25-35 entrees, $40 lobster roll (warm or cold). No hidden fees in your bill. Their staff was friendly and professional.

Great new restaurant on the wharf. We came for an early dinner on a Thursday and had a great view of the water. Inside is adorable and outside deck is lovely. The onion rings are a must get! Bluefish pate was my favorite I had on island, don’t miss it!
