The food here is fire and you definitely get your money’s worth. Tried it for the first time tonight because they were new on doordash. Trapping with Tacos is legit (different business same location? Or same business with a different name?) IDK, all I know is the food was great! They definitely got a repeat customer in me.

I am incredibly disappointed. I have ordered from this place three times. The first time, the chicken was absolutely amazing, which is why I decided to come back. The second time, the chicken was bland and the sides were disappointing. I gave it another chance and ordered a third time, hoping the first experience was the standard and the second was just a bad batch. Unfortunately, the third time was even worse. The chicken was burnt, and the garlic butter rice was nothing more than dry, plain rice. It honestly feels like there is no love or pride being put into the food.

I was recommended this place by a friend and I must admit the food was everything. The staff was cool and the Owner/Chef took a couple minutes of his time to assist me on deciding what to get. (They were busy so I really appreciated that ). His food definitely turned me into a permanent customer cant wait to go back.

I ordered through DoorDash and let me tell you, everything was amazing! I’m a lamb chop junkie, so I was skeptical about trying somewhere new, but the pictures gave me hope — and they did not disappoint! The lamb chops were tender and flavorful, the mac and greens were bomb, and my boyfriend loved his chicken, mac, and yams.

I even called to ask about sauce options, and the person who answered was super nice and made sure our wings came with BBQ — perfect service! It’s so hard finding real home-cooked food that actually hits, but this place nailed it. Definitely my new go-to spot when I’m on the east side!

First impressions is Everything and I didn’t feel like I should be a returning customer, but this review is not to bash the Restaurant. This is to point out the things that they can improve to last longer in the Business. The lamb chops is good, The Mac and cheese was okay. The yams taste like salt and pepper no sweetness and the dressing was dry and the greens need more flavor. I will give them another try just because they are new.

November the eleventh I ordered two meals and went to pick them up you guys were there but I was informed that you were closed.I couldn’t understand how uber eats was able to take the money yet you guys are closed. It’s Nov 17 i still haven’t received a refund because it was canceled.The food was delicious.The first time I had it haven’t had it since due to this situation. I just spoke with Uber eats it will be maybe 4 more days before I get my money back. Super frustrated also I had to go back up there just to take a picture to prove you were closed. I was left super unsatisfied and inconvenienced

Got there food wasn’t ready had to wait another 15mins I got the Oxtail Dinner($38) the Mac&cheese was alright had to add some salt and pepper, dressing was very dry, Oxtails was fatty but was still good..also had a steak bite dinner steak was tough,cabbage could’ve been cooked longer, and mash potatoes was cool…would I return probably not.

I ordered on doordash today and the driver informed me that they were out of mac and yams. I tried to cancel my order on doordash but there is some new policy that u can’t get a refund if the order is made. ( crazy ik). I called the restaurant to see if he can cancel it on his end so I can get my full refund. He apologized for inconvenience and gave me extra food to make sure I was satisfied. To be honest I was gonna leave a bad review before I called.
