We came for a retirement party. The host was friendly and greeted us as we came in. He showed us to the bar area while we waited for the rest of the party. As soon as everyone arrived we were seated. We were given menus and told the specials. The waitress took our orders as soon as we were ready. Food came out quickly and everything was fantastic. I ordered the haddock dinner, it was perfect with enough to take home for 2 more meals. Everyone in the party had plenty or leftovers to take home. I highly recommend this fantastic restaurant. Can’t wait to go back and try other items.

We are a photobooth company and we did a Holiday party there for a business on December 13, 2025. From the time we arrived to the time we left the staff treated us like family, from helping us move our equipment in and out of the building , to making sure we had something to eat. Just WOW! Thank you to all the staff, we can’t wait to see you again. Steve and Tammy.

We had a large party last night and the waitress was exceptional! It’s never easy handling large parties but she truly did a great job. The food was very good also. We will definately be back!

I ordered an iceburg wedge, ribeye, and house cab (Kendall Jackson) at the bar. Everything was perfect. I ordered the steak medium rare plus and it was the best ribeye I’ve had anywhere in over a year. The iceburg wedge was huge and perfectly garnished. The steak came with asparagus and mashed potatoes which were amazing. This place greatly exceeded my expectations. We capped off the meal with an espresso.

I have been a regular patron of Strada Mia for many years. Tonight was by far the most disappointing night I have dined there. Upon arrival we were greeted by the host who was friendly & seated promptly. It went all downhill from there. We waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by our server. Our server lacked knowledge & couldn’t answer very basic questions my wife and I had about the wine or dinner menu. We finally made our selections and when the food arrived we were highly disappointed, everything was bland and slightly undercooked… usually the food is very flavorful I am not sure what has changed. The staff seemed to be very overwhelmed, our waters sat empty for a majority of the time, we were never offered another round of drinks. This is not the type of service we are accustomed to at Strada Mia. We will be back to try again in the future, hopefully they can correct the issues.

Delicious shrimp cocktail, clam chowder and pesto tortilla and pesto Primavera. All on point. Paired with a raspberry martini. Excellent dinner!

I worked in restaurants for 10+ years, both back of house and front of house. I would never leave a bad review unless it was 110% warranted. We dined in the bar area on Friday Sept 26, and we were a party of 6. Service was good, and drinks were fine. The restaurant had a pretty limited menu for Syracuse Family Weekend. This was fine, as that was our reason for being in town, and everyone found something to order. The problem was the food.

Two of us ordered filet mignon, medium and medium rare. Mine was the blandest, most flavorless steak I have ever eaten. My daughter said the same. The color was correct for medium rare, perhaps a little under-done, but the steak was completely DRY. For $50 per filet, I expect perfection, not something that tastes like they bought it from a 7-11 (if 7-11 sold steak).

We also had two orders of gnocchi, which was unimpressive, at best. Sauce tasted like a jar of Ragu. The salmon itself was apparently fine, but the spinach and sauce it was served with tasted and looked like it was cooked a week before and left to turn to mush.

The restaurant wasn’t even that busy – seemed ridiculous to have a limited menu. The purpose of a limited menu on a busy weekend is so that food quality is preserved to the restaurant’s standards. I guess Strada Mia’s standards are really, really low. We will not be returning.

James, what the heck is going on? I ordered fried calamari as I usually do and I got weird calamari steak strips. The chef said you guys switched over from tubes and tentacles to steaks; it was absolutely horrible. Forget about it.

Went Saturday. Everything was great.Oil and bread, manicotti spot on. The prime rib was great. Not fatty at all. Green beans cooked to perfection. But the absolute star was the mashed potatoes. Smooth, silky, with incredible flavor. Great job. Any chance I can get the recipe?????

Great service. Although we were seated next to a very large party that was very loud we enjoyed our dinner. Took a while for the food to come out. Appetizers were quick but dinner not so much. Food is pretty good. Wouldn’t recommend the shrimp scampi…there was no garlic in my dish and it didn’t taste like typical shrimp scampi. But the Nona meatball, bruschetta and chocolate chip lava cake were all really good.
