I looked them up. To try them out and pleasantly surprising they were pretty flavorful. My only disappointment was the lamb chops. Now, for them to call themselves the home of the lamp chops, they were a little on the tuff side but great flavor. The deal they offer is great 2 chops, 2 wings and 2 pieces of fried fish, 2 sides and cornbread. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the wings because they had a shortage. Overall, customer service was great and accommodating. Will try again.

If you haven’t been to this amazing restaurant what are you waiting for! The customer service was fantastic and the food did not disappoint. I got the turkey chops meal with candied yams / Mac and cheese it was delicious hot and fresh as well as seasoned to perfection . The cherry on top was the sweet cornbread chile I don’t even like cornbread

First time visiting this spot in Whitehall/Columbus Ohio and definitely this was a 10/10 service the experience being greater upon entering and the feel good feelings if you know you know . Some of the most delicious close to home feel good food I ordered 10 wings hot sweet corn bread, baked macaroni & cheese and green beans all of the delectables of my choosing were mouth watering as you can see I dug right in on the road and don’t let me forget to mention it was hot, well prepared and cooked. I will most certainly be making my way around the block again. Stop in and show them some love ❤️

The Honey Garlic Wings are my all-time favorite, but the Turkey Chops stole the show today — juicy, seasoned to perfection, and cooked with care. The prices are more than fair, and the portions? Let’s just say we left full and happy!
On top of that, it’s a family-run, Black-owned business that gives back by hiring and mentoring youth in our community. That alone deserves our support.
Highly recommend you pull up, grab a plate, and experience it for yourself.

18.99 got me the best meal i’ve had in months. it was my first time coming here and just right down the street. i got there and almost immediately received service right before they closed. i pulled over to look at my food and it looks amazing. i started to go home and then i quickly turned back around to tip thé worker, id never give out a tip in a drive thru but the customer service was amazing, the food looking amazing and tasted amazing! great job to whoever’s running this business. i’ll definitely be a returning customer after my experience.

Staff was very nice and friendly! I’d order the rib dinner with Mac and cheese and yams; whereas my mother ordered the chicken dinner with greens and Mac. The Mac and cheese was very salty and greasy! The greens was very salty! The yams looks and taste like they were over cooked in the oven… too much water/very soupy! Chicken could use more seasoning and different flour/ batter!
The best thing I had was the Turkey ribs! Very good flavor!

The food is good. I don’t like everyone’s Mac n cheese but they’re a solid 4/5. We tried the sampler. Lamb cooked wrong tastes gamey. But their meat was well marinated.the chicken was ok. Not a wow but not bad.

I actually intended on leaving a 5 star rating for the speed and service until I got in the car and looked in my bag. I purchased a 4 PC perch dinner for $13.99 and when I tried the yams…excellent, hotter than expected which prompted me to open this box to leave the initial rating that I intended to. The rice was great too…but then I realize I have 3 pieces of perch where the menu (and SEVERAL of them) clearly says 4 pieces.
I go in and let the staff members know that I only received 3 pieces and the lady from the drive thru window explains to me that if the pieces are bigger they only give 3 sometimes. Then the gentleman that took my order came in and sat in front of the menu and said “it’s only supposed to come with three, she made a mistake when she put that on there” however I am not at all reimbursed in any fashion for receiving 75% of the fish that I paid 100% of the price for. I at least expected something not excuses in a place of business. Not even a free drink or something? I’ve received that just waiting somewhere for an extended time. Really? My first and only visit and it’s a shame that a business would try to swindle customers out of their product that they pay for with excuses not written in any form or fine print.
TERRIBLE TERRIBLE business. Kinda makes me wonder why she insisted on tying the bag after I’d already been reaching for it…
I’ll add…the solution to this to run the business CORRECTLY would be to offer THREE PIECE perch fish dinners and if they’re too small GIVE THEM AN EXTRA PIECE, don’t swindle people out product that you have NO IDEA what they went through just to be able to receive. Seriously.

Not the soul food I’m used to. Wanted to like this place but I didn’t Enjoy one thing about the meal. The salmon was the smallest piece I’ve ever been given at a restaurant and was extremely dry. The greens were so salty that none of us could eat them. The jiffy corn bread was dry and the potato salad tasted like the whole container of dill fell in. My dad loves potato salad and took one bite and wouldn’t eat anymore. Wish this experience would have been better.

Listen … my cousin treated me to this place over the weekend. I guess the owner started out in the kitchen and generated so much traffic he opened his own spot. First off 10/10!! It was my first having lamp chops , very tender and the sauce was amazing. It was so good , I wanted to save it for later!! I had to get the koolaid for the culture as well. Yams tasted like candy , the cornbread cake was everything and the Mac and cheese was good as well. I love a good hood spot and it being a drive thru made it that much better. Keep doing yalls thing!!
