Finally got to Stowe’s and I will definitely be back. I had the fish tacos with cod but you can order them with any of the fresh fish of the day options they have. I also got the stuffed clam. My friend for the fried clam strip sandwich and the gumbo (not pictured). The portions are huge!! So much value for what you pay and the seafood is super fresh and everything was cooked really well.

Perfect atmosphere right ght across from the water. They have all kinds of fun decorations on the patio. Get the hot lobster roll. “Market price” was $22. Another dollar gets you a small container of delicious cole slaw. The onion rings were a little boring. They could use some seasoning or salt. My friend ordered The Boat (fish and chips), which was a plentiful portion.

Wow. This place was recommended by a colleague and wow. I was super blown away by the quality of the food. Everything was extremely well seasoned and the flavors popped. Everyone there was super friendly. I got the shrimp boat and when I was done, I wanted to get another. That’s how good it was.

Stowe’s is always packed. Parking is limited so be prepared to circle the block and walk. Food is delicious. Reasonably priced for how fresh the seafood is. Go in expecting to spend at least $20 per person. CASH ONLY. There’s an ATM on site.

The food was fresh and excellent. We loved eating outside. We shared the Treasure Chest and there was enough to share with a third person. Gumbo was so good!

We enjoyed the food here. We ordered shrimp boats which were fantastic. I didn’t care for the New England clam chowder, unfortunately. The broth was very thin, almost milky (I’m used to a thicker soup). If they can work on the consistency of the soup it would be better. I would return again. Parking is minimal so you might need to wait for someone to leave.

I’m disappointed and saddened, this used to be our favorite seafood place. We ordered the lobster rolls and clam chowder, but it was kind of expensive. The Clam chowder was watery and not thick, while the lobster rolls were alright but they were served on tiny hot dog buns and not worth the price compared to other places. I probably won’t be going here again.
