I’ve come here the past couple months for the BBQ with my family. I learned to dance at a very modern line dancing club, but several ladies here helped me learn how to do several dances in their style, and the men taught me how to two-step and more. Everyone here treats each other like family. The food is phenomenal. It is a more mature crowd on these days, but I don’t mind at all as they’ve all been very nice and taught me new dances and have even pointed out new places to try dancing and other nights to try Stovalls with a younger crowd. I plan on making this at least monthly go-to!

Love this place! The friendliest people you’ll ever dance with! Thursday night line dance practice is tons of fun and yesterday’s BBQ was off the hook! The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because I am not a country girl… but hey things can change

The owner has a dirty mouth and is not accommodating for new bands that inevitably bring him business. In short, 30 ppl will tell hundreds of ppl to not visit your establishment. You can’t survive on your regulars for forever bub.

Great place to listen to music, dance, and have a drink. They don’t serve food, except once a month on Sunday, but you can bring yours in. Great country vibe. People are great.

The website makes this place seem like an inviting & welcoming place to go…couldn’t have been more Wrong! We arrived with a party of 12 celebrating a friend’s birthday. We were invited in after we paid the cover charge. We were there about 7p.m., all tables were already reserved, apparently only for the locals. We were treated VERY rudely by the male bartender! The lady bartender at least served us with a smile.The male bartender made rude comments to us & about us the whole time we were there. So we didn’t stay long. While most of the “locals” appeared to be of an advanced age, when they are no longer able to go there, this place is very unlikely to have any replacement customers.

Small dance. Probably the most diverse age group. Not bad. A good mix of line dancing and partner dancing. I love most of the concept just wish the floor was bigger.

We had a group of 12 people celebrating a birthday. We were ready to drink and have a good time. Upon entering, the guy bartender was rude!! Unprofessionally rude and made several snide comments to and about our group while we were there.
However, and I want to be clear, the young brunette gal that bartended for us was very friendly and quickly filled our drink orders.
That said, the consistent sarcasm and comments from the jerk behind the bar made the group uncomfortable. We left. While our group was leaving the jerk was overhead saying “I hope you have a terrible drive home”!!! For one, we will never visit the Stovall again. That jerk needs to be fired and reminded that it is customer service that should be top priority in a “welcoming” atmosphere” as Stovall’s advertises.

I’d give negative stars if I could. I have been there twice with a group of people. We came ready to eat, drink, and dance and were welcomed with stares, rudeness, and snide comments. We were kicked out both times, without a given reason. Unless you’re a local, they don’t want you there!!!
