The Dubliner Tenderloin sandwich was a beast of a meal. Could easily feed 2 people. I was able to finish it minus two pieces of the bread, and it’s definitely not a pick it up and eat it kind of sandwich.

Really gone downhill since last time I was there (late last summer). 3 of us went last night rather than driving out to Jerry’s. 5:30pm on a Friday we were seated right away. Just ordered water and put in our food order right away before the kitchen got slammed. Then we waited and waited and waited. Server came twice to apologize. Food arrived (looked at life 360 and it said we had been there 57 min). Food wasnt’t hot it was warm at best.
Don’t know what it was in the kitchen, but not good.
Next time I guess we drive a little extra

Here we go again. When Stouts first came into town, we loved it. The food was great and the place was always packed. The food went down hill fast and we stopped going. Recently we stopped in because our go to place was packed and the food at Stouts was very good under new management. We have gone there 5 or 6 times in the last month or so and last night my wife ordered a taco salad. The meat came right out of the refrigerator. We suggested to our waitress that people may enjoy warm meat on a taco salad instead of cold. She told us that the chef had been told this before. Our waitress came back and told us that her and the manager had talked with him. When the bill came out and the taco salad was billed in-full our waitress told me if this ever happens again, let us know and we will comp the meal. I said to my wife if she makes that future promise, why wouldn’t you comp the problem tonight?

The Tenderloin basket is HUGE and only $10 on Thursdays. Two meals for one person. The side salad was $3.99 and super fresh. Although I prefer my fries crispier, they still had good flavor.
For my sour lovers, the Five Cities “Adventures of Sour Man” was delightful.

I hate posting bad reviews about local small businesses but this place is just BAD! Had a terrible experience here about 2 years ago. Lots of people try to hype this place up so we gave it a second chance. It’s still just bad. The food is terrible. I follow a FB page specifically about breaded pork tenderloin sandwiches and Stouts gets lots of reviews on it. Their tenderloin sandwich was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever attempted to eat in my life. It was dripping with grease and just plain nasty. Don’t believe any of the positive reviews. This place is terrible.

Visited the Bettendorf, IA location Last Wednesday, the 3rd of April, 2024′, along with My Lady Friend. We thoroughly enjoyed Our Corned Beef Rueben Sandwich Baskets served with Shoestring French Fries, coupled with, Onion Rings and Cheese Curds for Appetizers; sincerely believe, the Best I’ve Ever Had! Our Server was a Lady by the name of Jennifer S. Whom was Outstanding! She was Friendly and Pleasant and provided an Awesome Dining Experience. To Whomever was the Kitchen Staff responsible for the Preparation of the Food and the Plating of the Order: 10 out of 10 for Attention to Detail! Our Food looked as though It came right out of Bon Appe’tit Magazine..!!! I’m looking forward in Visiting the Clinton, IA location in the very near future to fulfill My desire to Taste Their vast Array of Menu Offerings…
*Highly Recommend!!!

Stout’s is situated not far from the traffic circle adorning the intersection of 53rd Avenue and Middle Road, an intersection I take almost every day to and from work. I typically pass by Stout’s and all of 53rd Avenue every day, as I continue down Middle Road to I-80 for work or south to get home. Today was the day though – I had been told Stout’s has some good food and was worth the trip.
I’d say this assessment was spot on. The interior is not large – there were plenty of tables, but almost all were full when I arrived. With the bar completely empty, I opted to sit there to eat and drink alone for the evening.
As one of the businesses growing along 53rd Avenue and around the TBK Bank Sports Complex, Stout’s has a new, clean interior. Light wood laminate covers the floor throughout the dining space, with the walls mostly consisting of green painted drywall with various Irish-related accoutrement and decoration. The ceiling is quite unique – bronze colored floral patterned tiles line the entire space. Whether they are actual metal or some PVC product, I couldn’t tell for sure, but I also didn’t care – they looked cool and worked with the rest of the space.
I opted for my normal drink choice tonight – a Bombay and Tonic. The bartender made it quickly – it was a good solid G&T. For my meal, I chose the Philly Cheese Steak. The shoestring fries were quite delicious – not to crispy and plenty fluffy. The sandwich was solid – not the best Philly Cheesesteak I’ve ever had, but was seasoned well and had good texture.
I’d come back here for a sandwich and drink again. It’s right on the way home for me, making it more convenient than many other places. Thanks for the great meal, Stout’s!

We had the pretzels for an appetizer. I think they were left out in the sun too long (Trekkies only) as they were nearly burned. The cheese sauce was the finest canned hydrogenated oil anyone can buy. IT’S A FRICKING PUB!!! Make some beer cheese!!! The main courses were good but not great. I had the “Breakfast” burger, not bad. Not a snow balls chance in hell of picking it up, but it was tasty. My wife had the Portobello sandwich, which she described as “lacking flavor”… the highlight of the meal for my wife was her beer flight.
