The environment was neat and our server was really friendly and helpful. The restroom needed to be cleaned and there were at least 4 employees standing around talking/on their phones during our visit.
We received complimentary seafood bread and it was really tasty. Our food was served quickly and hot. We ordered the fried catfish po’boy, fried gator po’boy, and a seafood boil (snow crab legs, lobster tail, corn, potatoes, crab house cajun, mild). The seafood boil was flavorful, the fried catfish was ok, the gator was good but not enough to fill the bread, and the hushpuppies were really good.
I recommend this restaurant if you like seafood.

I was pleased to find that the seafood bread was tasty and affordable, with a couple of pieces even thrown in for free. My date and I opted for the #6 Boil, which offered a substantial amount of food for the price. The server was attentive and helpful, walking us through the ordering process to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. While the interior had a unique, cool aesthetic, it was marred by some concerning decor choices, including racist and homophobic language. Despite this, the experience was decent, though the bathrooms were in need of a serious cleaning. The seafood bread was a standout, and I’d consider coming back for a more low-key meal or drinks and appetizers.

I ordered several items for takeout. I got clams, crayfish, and shrimp. The seafood was decent. I’m sure it’s better in the restaurant, when it’s nice and hot. I could have used more spice.

Food was good. Service was a little off. Lots of shrimp. We did the combo #6. Waiter said it was for 2 people but you only get 3 clusters of crab legs, 2 lobster tails. I suggest adding on more crab legs. Drink refills were zero so that was not great. Especially when you got spices going. Bread at the beginning is definitely a tease. You only get 1 piece then cost after that. Was a seafood vibe in the restaurant though. Clean.

I’ll start with the good. The hush puppies and seafood bread were very good and not a bad price, either. You get a couple pieces of seafood bread on the house. My husband got the fried shrimp which was good. I got the half-pound of snow crab legs that said it came with potatoes. I got one cluster of crab and a single potato. The crab was cooked poorly and all the meat was stuck to the sides of the shell and I had to scrape each piece out in shreds. It was comical. The place was nearly empty but our server forgot our order a couple times. The interior is decorated pretty cool, but some of the things written in the restroom and on walls were racist or homophobic and I wish they’d remove it. All in all it was ok, but I can’t wait for The Ketch to open back up. The seafood bread may call to me again, drinks and appetizers could be cost-efficent way to go out here.

Just ate there this afternoon together with my wife. Decided to order fried catfish and fried shrimp baskets. The baskets include four pieces of catfish and eight pieces of shrimp.
Everything was over fried, especially the catfish. They may have used over burned cooking oil.
The fish itself did not seem to be very fresh either. The coleslaw was stale. The tartar sauce was mostly mayo. The cocktail sauce was fresh and good tasting.
The server was understanding and brought, at my request, two other pieces of fried catfish that were not as overly fried.
This was the poorest fried seafood I ever had.
I rated the service with four stars because the server did everything she could to improve our experience. But I would give the food zero stars if I could. It was our first and last visit.

Absolutely fantastic! Food was incredible and oh! The bread! Viviane our darling waitress was such a joy! I will definitely be back soon. Worth the drive and you get your moneys worth on the helpings. If you like seafood…this is your destination!

We heard good things about this restaurant and decided to try it. The place was decorated very uniquely which gave it a cool atmosphere. The server was very sweet and did a great job. Cleanliness was lacking a bit. The bathrooms weren’t great and there was a dirty water bucket up in the front area that smelled awful. Unfortunately we weren’t impressed with the food. The lunch crab legs only came with a single potato and the fried oysters were not great. Could have better fried oysters at home. Maybe we went on a bad day for this restaurant but it was poorly lacking in two big areas for me. So I probably won’t be trying again.
