Happily Retired
This was an amazing and fun place! The atmosphere was unique and very welcoming! The food was very appetizing and flavorful. They offer different seasonings and temperature levels. Come hungry because you will definitely leave full with left overs! The servers were all very friendly, especially ours. The dinning room and restrooms were exceptionally clean. Don’t forget to sign your name or leave a message on their walls before you leave!!!

I’ve been here a couple times and it’s always been enjoyable. They have a variety of seafood and side options.
We started off with the seafood bread which is a must have for us. We also had some raw oysters. These were just okay. Probably would order them again. The house sauce is a nice Cajun garlic that is just so good. I’d recommend getting an extra side sauce as the food gets cold quickly sitting on the metal pan. However, the extra sauce is 1.50 and is basically a sample size. It does stay warmer a little longer than the sauce in the pan though.

This place is odd. The atmosphere feels stuck in the 1970’s. Graffiti on the walls and chairs, fishing ropes hanging from the ceiling etc. But that’s not the worst part, the worst part is the food. In one word, it’s awful. The complimentary fish toast is inedible. It’s best described as a salty mush on top of bread. It don’t think it’s ever been close to a fish. The crab cakes were deep fried and came with deep fried fish balls (I think they were fish balls – the menu doesn’t say what they are). Both were mushy just like the fish toast and very salty. The penne with shrimp was the best thing I had and it wasn’t spectacular at all and again, salty. It was supposed to be Cajun penne but it had no such flavor at all. The service was fine and when I said something about the food, she didn’t seem surprised by my comments. She offered to have it re-made, but I don’t think that would have made any difference. Management need to take a trip to New Orleans and see what the seafood it like there and attmept to copy it. But before that happens, do yourself a favor, and don’t eat here.

I’ve been here before and ordered the boil twice—really good, and the seafood bread is phenomenal.
Came back this evening and tried the gumbo, and it was definitely not homemade—not even close. Honestly, it was disrespectful to real gumbo everywhere.
My fiancée ordered Cajun fries with her fish basket, but the fries were barely seasoned, and we had to ask for seasoning on the side.
On the positive side, the service is always great—friendly, quick, and accommodating. The fish was top-notch, and the sweet potato fries are always a hit.
I’ll definitely be back—just watch out for the gumbo.

We had a great experience at Storming Crab! The seafood was fresh, served hot, and full of flavor. The seasoning options are fun to customize, and the portions were generous. Our server was friendly and patient, which made the whole experience even better. It’s a fun, casual spot if you’re craving a seafood boil and don’t mind getting a little messy. We’ll definitely be back!
