Everything was really good, great service, had the combo plus, extra pounds of crab legs. I’ve been there before, and never disappoints. Great portions, take some home for later. I plan on going back on a good payday.

When you get a warning from another patron as you are walking in and they are leaving…LISTEN! Food was average, atmosphere was childish (tagging and writing all over walls), but the service was GREAT though. I ended up getting sick from eating there. Hubby and I spent $100+ for dinner and will not be going back.

It was my first time having crawfish and my boyfriend said he wasn’t impressed by them as he has had them before to me their wasn’t enough meat inside them to actually taste them to know if I actually like them. I know I ordered the most mild taste because I can’t handle spicy foods what so ever and it was still a little spicy. The shrimp was really good the snow crab legs were good even though they were quite small and not that much meat in them at all. I will try this place out one more time but I will try the lobster boil next. The waitress was nice and super attentive

Worst meal ever and the price didn’t help. I was really reaching for nice things to say. The staff seemed really friendly but the food was horrendous. The kids nuggets seemed like store bought nuggets, the portions were small for the price, the appetizers were good but not enough to save the experience. When the manager or whomever came up and asked us about the meal we told him we didn’t like it and he just said “oh” no apologies no attempts to make it right. They seemed extremely over-staffed for the limited amount of people there on a holiday. I mean it’s really bad when you spend over $100.00 on a ticket and don’t want to take any food home. I literally have never been this displeased with a meal. I actually wanted to warn people as we were leaving. I sincerely hope this was just a one off bad experience for the sake of this business.

My husband and I had a great date night here. We had fully planned on eating 3 pounds of crab and we were pleasantly surprised to see if we bought 2 pounds, we got one free as a promotion. So, we also got huge oysters! I almost had to roll out of there because we ate so much. The staff was very attentive and worked together. Plates were cleared out quickly and my drink was filled the whole time. We also really love the Old Bay sauce that is offered.

Some of the food was fine but the crab legs had weird discoloration on the meat and was cooked into oblivion. I don’t even know how you over cook crab legs. Staff seemed annoyed that people were there. The san Mateo location is usually great but we moved to the Westside recently. If you’re on the Westside just do Crackin Crab instead

Our shrimp dishes — one fried the other boiled with garlic butter — were excellent. The French fries were lightly battered and not overly salty. The menu is extensive — you can view it online and order for pickup — so we will be going back to try other dishes. They do have beer and wine.
The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was amusing as the early patrons were given black felt tip pens to write messages on the pine paneling and posts. The accompanying picture shows the funniest one at our booth.
