First time back here in many, many years and a first for my hubby. We drive by quite a bit, so we decided to pop in. Not very busy for a winter evening during the dinner hour, so it was perfect!
The staff is very friendly and attentive, drinks were great and food was fantastic!!!

Must try the crab bisque! So good! Drinks are really well made! I got the blackened shrimp salad, so delicious! My boyfriend got the very large steak and he loved it! Bit on the more pricy side, but if you want fresh and delicious food give it a shot! Nice date night

Was told the soup was crab bisque. We got clam chowder. Ordered the 24 oz lobster tail. It was not 24 oz. The backed potato was very small. All the condiments were packaged. Not worth the price.

My husband and I had dinner here for the first time tonight. We both ordered the filet mignon. It comes with two sides. I chose broccoli and a baked potato and my husband chose Cajun rice and a baked potato. The baked potatoes are small and the prepackaged sour cream and butter detract from the presentation. The broccoli portion was small and was just frozen broccoli heated up. No seasoning. For a $35 dish, I would have expected more flavor for the sides.
My husband said the Cajun rice was quite tasty!
Side Salads and table bread are not offered. Garlic bread can be purchased as an appetizer.
The steaks were good. 10 oz portions. Mine was undercooked and had to go back to the grill for another minute.
I ordered a crabcake to go. I love crabcakes and finding a place that makes them right can be challenging. These crabcakes were packed with nice chunks of sweet crabmeat, no filler! Yum! The only problem was, my crabcake was burnt. See photos.
We each ordered Long Island iced teas. Drinks were ok.
Service was ok, nothing to write home about. Our server did check on us but we didn’t feel the awesome service some other reviews talked about.
The odor of stale ashtray was the first thing we noticed when we entered the restaurant.
Overall, the dining experience at Stoppers was just OK. We will probably not be in a hurry to return.

My husband commented on the cigarette smell as soon as we walked in. He got the prime rib, Cajun rice and applesauce. Prime rib taste was good but portion was on the small side for the price. Rice flavor was OK but, again, small serving and his applesauce was a really small cup, like what other restaurants bring salad dressing out in. I got a chicken Caesar salad and French onion soup. I got the soup because it was a great price but when she brought it out I saw why, it’s only a cup. Flavor was good, I took the bread out because it was a blob of bread. Chicken was good, lettuce was dry, iykyk…. better than wilted lettuce.
Server was friendly and food came out quickly.

JP, the barkeeper, was especially pleasant. The food arrived earlier then expected… The coconut shrimp was very good! I get like John Candy in the Great Outdoors movie when considering my choice to dine on the 1.5 pound steak. Convenient location for a stop while leaving town…for sure.

Well the place was decorated cool. The staff was friendly. The stuffed mushrooms were good. The coconut shrimp was good. However the sirloin tips were kinda bland, definitely needed steak sauce.. The loaded potato was not only kinda small but not very loaded. Although it was nice to give me a small salad, it only consisted of a little romaine, 1slice of tomato and 5 croutons. I should have just gotten the ceaser. It was also pretty dead. All in all it was cool.

We went on Mother’s Day weekend and the atmosphere was great! The waitress was super friendly and helpful. The food was sooo yummy and the bartender was really good! We also got food to go and the quality was awesome as well.
